I’ve been going to this store for years and I’ve always received great service. I have a number of bikes that they’ve always been able to keep running and at a reasonable cost. There have been several times that they’ve stayed late for me to make sure that my bikes were ready to go for upcoming events when I’ve run into last minute issues.

The people here know all about bikes and will gladly answer any questions you might have. They were even helpful about providing information about local bike trails. HOWEVER, be sure that if you are quoted a price for work to be done/​parts to be included in service repairs, you obtain a WRITTEN statement including the exact price for each part.
I was quoted one price over the phone and when I came in, the price was $ 1 or $ 2 higher. The original price and the difference were really inconsequential. What rankled was that they swore that they had NOT quoted the original price that they had, and because there were two of them saying it, those were the facts, and I must have been the one mistaken. I was not. I would not have minded if they had said, «Yes, we quoted that price, but unfortunately, we were in error.» Paying the additional $ 1 or $ 2 would not have been a problem.
It was the suggestion that I was completely mistaken and that they had not said something that they did in fact say which rubbed me the wrong way. Quotes in writing are the way to go to prevent any misconstructions or misunderstandings…

Best place in Fondy if you need service on your steed. They have a great selection of BMX, road, mountain, and triathlon bikes. There are several pieces of fitness equipment that can also be purchased here. John and the rest if the crew are sure to do right by you and help you with all of your cycling needs. I’ve waited to have service done on my bike, lugging it over 7 hours to bring it here as opposed to bringing it to my local shop in St. Louis.
