Thank you for the above amazing customer service! I fell in love the moment I saw the menu. It’s always exciting to go into someplace new and have an adventure. This place and the lady’s description of my favorite chocolate flavor made me so excited to try it! If I lived in Sacramento this place would be a daily stop for me. Oh Sacramento another reason why I love you so much!

Amazing! My other half was trying to kill some time before our long drive home and he stumbled upon this sweet gem! Guess I should thank myself for wanting a few minutes to myself to sleep in at the hotel across the street!
All I can say is I’ve had 4 pieces of their lovely chocolate and it is TO DIE FOR! Can’t wait to get through this stack of a dozen bite size heavenly silliness!
It was probably a good thing I wasn’t with him! Wine & chocolate are my weakness! I can’t wait to pay this lil establishment a visit in person! Easy parking and great customer service is what he said! And a plus that it’s right across from a decent hotel! You know, in case I get carried away with the VINO! ;)

This is the place to stop for a hot chocolate while doing your Christmas shopping! Unique flavors and boutique feel are leaps and bounds above the nearby Starbucks! Plus, when you get your hot cocoa for $ 3.50, you can add a chocolate for just 50¢!

I have been buying this Chocolate Silk since they opened. It is always a family favorite. Life is too short to not eat the best chocolate there is. It makes wonderful gifts for all occassion. The service is top notch and always friendly. The elegant packing also makes a nice presentation.

Let’s see, a couple trays of wine samplers paired with a couple trays of excellent chocolate bites, with suggestions on which wines pair best with which chocolates, all for 10 bucks per person.

My husband and I went out for an anniversary dinner and wanted something sweet afterward so we decided to try this place. The owner helped us decide which flavors to try and gave us each two samples. He was super helpful and informative. We each chose three flavors to take to go. Super friendly and cute place! Will be back for sure next time we are in the area.

Got to the movies early so It was go to see’s chocolate or go to this place and we decided this place. Not disappointed at all. Being over 21 is the way to do it. A glass of wine with some amazing chocolate is a way to kill a little time. They have a «lounge area» which is just a nice place to chill where you can have your wine and eat. Nothing special but relaxing to chill with the girlfriend. I truly have to say the service and chocolate was on point. I will definitely be showing up to the movies early on «purpose» now.

The DELISH Chocolate Silk settles on the palette like a Ganache. LOVE LOVE LOVE the wine pairings and chocolate on the patio. So much fun to people watch and imbibe!

Absolutely amazing chocolate! They also offer a very nice wine selection in addition to coffee and tea. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The girl helping me knew the chocolates and wines well and was able to suggest a perfect pairing of the two. You also receive a free piece of chocolate with each glass of wine! And at a $ 1.50 for each square of chocolate, you will not break the bank trying a few types. So good! They also offer a nice seating area indoors and an outside patio. A wonderful addition to the Folsom Paladio!

LOVE their chocolate. So delicious! Great wine selection too. They offer other things, but that’s what I tried on this visit. Great service that is knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent recommendation for pairing the wine with chocolate. They have outdoor patio seating as well as an indoor area with comfy chairs. I really enjoyed my visit, and was so happy to find this gem!

My fiancé and I came in here and were helped out by the owner she was so sweet! We decided to go for the glass of wine that came with a free piece of chocolate (YUM!) we sat in their patio and ended up having a nice convo with her husband and he told us about how they got started.
The chocolate was also AMAZING! Will be back for more :)

The «chocolate silk» that this place serves up just isn’t for everyone. I love chocolate and have a giant sweet tooth (think the fat kid from Willy Wonka), so perhaps I’m just looking for something sweeter and richer. Those that are looking for something subtle may like this place very much, but I would call it bland. Certainly don’t go here looking for a typical chocolate shop.
The prices are also outrageous. Even if I loved this stuff I wouldn’t pay for it. Seems to be priced more for a fancy gift, where you’re paying for packaging and appearance, not just the «chocolate.»

Horrible service. Went here to purchase a gift– wanted to make a small box with some of the assorted types of «silk» (it’s merely ordinary fudge). They only had boxes of the original plain chocolate, so when I asked if I could do an assorted box, the staff member scoffed at me saying she *can*do it, but «it’ll be a wait».
Excuse me?! I’m the only customer in this store. How is it trouble that I want a few different types of silk?
After I got home and tried some of the silk with my mom, whom the gift is for– I discovered I didn’t get ²⁄₄ flavors I asked for. Either that, or the flavoring is really really weak. I was looking forward to the fireball flavor but it tasted the exact same as the other pieces– plain chocolate. I asked for some kind of nut, a single plain chocolate, and fireball, and marshmallow. She gave me chocolate and marshmallow only.
Pretty weak. Will not be returning.

My friend and I happened to stumble upon this place and boy am I glad we did! This place is just so sweet and adorable I can’t handle it. We were instantly greeted by Kristen who was, to say the least, amazing! She let us try some samples because we were a little weary of the product just because we tend to not like chocolate as much. It was amazing I wanted to buy all of their chili mango chocolate! I would highly recommend this place if you either have a sweet tooth or if you need chocolates for a special occasion.

I hate giving bad reviews, especially when the staff is so nice, but this place is just awful. They call their chocolate «silk» but it’s nothing more than fudge, and horrible fudge at that. The flavors were equally horrible. I still have no idea what the carmel flavour was but it wasn’t carmel. The one with almond had things that looked like nuts BUT DIDN’T CRUNCH. I literally threw away every piece I bought.
I wanted to like them, I really did. The mall could use a chocolate shop, but it needs to be *chocolate* and not some weird waxy concoction.

We walked in thinking they would have decadent chocolate shakes like the other big name chocolate company that cannot be named. They didn’t. They carry «Chocolate Silk» which has the same texture and consistency of fudge. The friendly woman behind the counter gave us a sample but refused to say the f-​word (fudge). You can pay per piece at $ 1.50 and the flavors change. It’s a little steep in my book for admittedly 2 – 3 bites.
They offer seasonal packaging and the woman told us they do deliver in the surrounding area! If I’m craving super rich «chocolate silk» I’d consider but I could probably save a cavity or two if I stay away.

I’m sorry, I’m trying to get over the shock of seeing that someone else did NOT give this place five stars. Hang on. I’m almost there.
Phew. Okay. That was weird.
I came in here for the first time a few weeks ago, and came back today because, obviously, it’s not fair to review a place you haven’t even visited in the past few weeks, right?
I know, weak excuse, but any excuse is good enough for chocolate.
Oh, right, the chocolate. The chocolate is just freaking delightful. As the others have said, it is sort of like fudge, but calling it «just fudge» is like calling Starry Night «just a painting.» It’s not just fudge. It’s the best fudge ever.
Er, I’m sorry, it’s «chocolate silk.» My favorite flavors are Dark Orange Something and Mango and Chili Something. At least, that’s how I order them, and I get what I’m expecting, just like when I order a «large» drink at the Bux.
The service here is very interesting. The first time, I might have just gotten someone with major OCD. She literally handed me everything (including my receipt) on a silver platter. I mean it was actually on a silver platter, and I was like, wow, I’m probably the only person who comes in here and only spends $ 3.
More recently, the Christmas spirit has set in. It was quite apparent that the clerk did not want to be selling chocolate at 8pm on a Sunday, and I felt that he implied that I was chubby when he asked me whether or not I would like a bag for my several pieces of chocolate. Um… like… what else am I going to do with them? Do you really think I’m going to shove all of this fudge into my mouth faster than it can melt all over my hands?
So he left the chocolate on the tray, handed me the bag, and said, «I’ll let you put it in there.» Because clearly, at $ 1.50 per square, I am not paying a bagging fee. Okay, my point is, this clerk did not like me. Who knows, maybe I look just like the chick his wife left him for. Still, I’m going with five stars because the chocolate is just that good.

Good flavor but extremely expensive for a small square of what is basically fudge (as admitted by the employee behind the counter). A one inch square is $ 1.50. I rather go to See’s around the corner for more variety at a better price.

The chocolate is always delicious! A little expensive but worth it if your in the mood for a gourmet treat every now and then. The chocolate really is silky as advertised, and is more of a cousin of fudge. So all the none fudge lovers out there… this is a chocolate for you! Enjoy
