I went into this Starbucks to grab a drink before heading over to a friend’s house for a gaming night. There was two baristas, one guy and one girl. They were so friendly! The guy asked me what I was going to do with my day and when I told him that I was going to play a tabletop game similar to Dungeons and Dragons, they both were so excited and started telling me that they were gamers too! It was a really fun conversation and they were both so nice! Customer service is not what it used to be, but these guys renewed my faith in the industry. I love Starbucks(all locations), but this one is by far one of the best.

Small starbucks in folsom. Tiny compared to others, but great customer service. Only drawback… no drive thru

The staff here is incredibly nice, but I do notice that this place gets packed and hectic the moment school ends(around 2:45pm) because there are quite a few schools in the surrounding area. Either get there before that time or sometime after work, because you’ll be hard pressed to find a spot to sit or get a latte in less than 20 minutes

A couple of Saturdays ago we dropped by on our way to the lake and the 30-something-year-old barista gal had the nerve to call me Sweetie. Do women realize how condescending, patronizing, and pretty much rude it is to call a professional 55 year-old woman«sweetie»? My grandmother used to hate it when young women called her Sweetie. Your sweetie is your child or your SO, not your customer.

Visited this location during a swim meet across the street! They definitely planned ahead because there were plenty of people on staff so I never experienced a long line nor did I have to wait long for drinks. The Alamo location in Vacaville could take notes(the swim club gives them a heads up but they are still always slow an short staffed). Employees were in a great mood each time I came in and they were fast! Clean and spacious store, definitely coming here next time we are at a meet across the street!

2015 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 015⁄100 This Starbucks was really clean, no line, and good customer service. I was in and out with my iced coffee and it was made to perfection.

This corner store is great! Good product, nice baristas, and yummy drinks made right the first time! No trash cans in the entire store this morning though. SECONDTRIP We came in and I tried their new taramisu drink… BARF. I took it right back and they said everyone brings it back… so why did you recommend it to me??? So they made me a new one right away and fixed the issue with no problems yay! But every time I visit this place there is NOT A SINGLETRASHCANINTHESTORE. Where am I supposed to put my straw trash, on the floor?

Having just moved to Folsom, we have found our local Starbucks. We have not been disappointed at all. We have been greeted well each and every time. The crew here are awesome !!

They are so great here even when the wait is long it’s not too bad. I understand the mixed review because sometimes they do have a pretty rude person on bar but otherwise they are great!

Eh. Not my favorite starbucks to go to. The people that work here are not the nicest… as some people have mentioned. There are other Starbucks where the people are friendlier. I was here the other day and the women behind the counter looked like they did not want to be there and I felt like I was an inconvenience ordering my drink rather than a paying customer. Will skip this place next time and go somewhere where the customer service is friendlier… like Peets.

Good spot for a quick meeting, outrageous prices for mediocre coffee but hey there is one on every corner they have to compete some how right?!

Short version: Skip this place — there are nicer Starbucks locations very close by which make better drinks, provide better customer service, and offer more comfortable store lay outs. Longer, more meandering version: I didn’t used to hate this Starbucks. I met clients from Folsom, El Dorado Hills, etc. here with some frequency because everyone seems to know where it is(because it’s in a large strip mall). The cramped, inconvenient seating and lay out were merely small irritations. I attributed the hit-and-miss quality of coffee and drinks to distracted teens — not a big deal, just a minor irritation. But this past weekend, we had to break up for real. I waited 15 minutes for a drink, while slightly clueless Amanda — I had to take note of her name, because she was that obnoxious — flirted with and made drinks for the middle-aged mid-life crisis know-it-all who ordered AFTER me. Between taking way too long, and not being concerned about other customers, she also made time to disparage her manager to this customer, in front of the rest of us. It was bad news. To add insult to injury, my peppermint mocha was barely warm. I am, however, comforted by the fact that she also messed up that guy’s drinks she spent all the time talking to.

Employees are nice don’t get me wrong, but the beverage and experience was awful. Beverage tasted like the shots had been sitting there for more than 10 seconds(which they had). The cashier did inform me the gingerbread latte was spicy and it was awful. Knowing it was spicy is more my fault but I feel like the expired espresso really amplifies the spiciness. I could have maybe dealt with it if the espresso was mixed within seconds of being extracted. When I talk about experience it was an ice box, had two sweaters on, and I am fat. The music was also blaring, nearly impossible to read a book. Not only was the music loud it was something that was nearly impossible to tune out(lyrical, loud obnoxious noises, etc). Felt more like I was at McDonalds. Like I said employees were nice though, only reason for two stars. I have also come to learn Starbucks doesn’t do foam on their drinks due to auto steaming… good ol flat gingerbread latte…

The crew is nice and you don’t have to wait long for a drink. The café is clean, plenty of seating for those of us that like to lounge and work on our laptops. Because its more in the heart of Folsom, the clientele is mostly local. People stopping to chit chat and not crazy loud like the ones by the freeway. My recommendation is the trenta green tea no water(when you order tea they add water, not sure why) and 2 splendas.

First off, I don’t drink coffee, but I love chai lattes and hot chocolates. Today I had an iced tall chai latte with nonfat milk, and it was pretty good, and was decently priced compared to other coffee shops. I also had a peaches and cream muffin, which was slightly disappointing, as there were no chunks of fruit in it, and I’m not sure where the«and cream» part of the name even came from. Maybe it would have been better hot; I didn’t ask for it hot and nobody offered to heat it up for me. I’d say it was definitely not worth 400 calories. The customer service was pretty good. The cashier was so enthusiastic that I’m going to assume you get free coffee if you work here. The whole place is pretty clean, but the furniture is out-dated and some of it is ripped. For a company that can afford a shop on every corner, it seems like maybe they should be able to keep their décor in better shape. The bathrooms were okay, but lacked the mega-plumbing found at most locations.

Kudos to the people here. I went in here yesterday and saw a man in a tie working the back, checking innovatory and reading stats on a clipboard while others were working. I assumed he was the franchise owner. Today I came in and the same man was wearing the green apron and working the front… A local firefighter was in front of me and when he tried to pay, the man said«I got you covered.» I appreciate the value showed to those people serving us. Great community spirit. The facility is 3 star but I give it 4 for the experience.
