I met Amber at a wedding expo 6 or 7 years ago, and have continued to go back to her ever since. She is an absolute pleasure to work with: down to earth, professional, kind, fun, creative, great at what she does, and she just makes you feel so at ease in front of her lens. I have done engagement, bridal, boudoir (more than once! It’s seriously addictive and she’ll make you look your absolute most gorgeous), professional headshots, and even social media shoots with her and have always been thrilled with my photographs — I just keep going back to her for every major life event. I cannot recommend her enough. I also highly recommend getting on her mailing list and signing up when she announces a photo party — they are always an amazing value for the package, and a lot of fun. Amber was recommended to us at a wedding expo. My now husband and I decided to go for it and call her and set up an engagement shoot. SHE ROCKS! Our engagement shoot was approx 2 hours and shortly that she connected with us to review our pics and we hired her for the wedding. In the middle of the wedding planning we had health issues and decided to move our wedding up significantly and she was there for us to do a MUCH earlier wedding shoot. The pictures are incredible! As our originally planned wedding date arrived, we had our «official» wedding day shoot with a vow renewal and reception and she was again there for us … We haven’t seen those final pictures yet, but I am sure they are going to be insanely wonderful again!
We love Amber! I can’t wait to work with her again. HIRE HER!

Getting everyone in the family to take a good picture is next to impossible. Not with Amber. She makes every shot she takes look natural and even the kids had fun. Pictures were gorgeous and fun. I’m ready to do it again

Amber is a lovely and talented photographer who I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Amber and her assistant shot our November 2012 wedding in Sacramento, CA and the pictures are simply phenomenal. She managed to capture a wonderful blend of expertly posed as well as delightful candid shots. She listened to our ideas and added in her own creative style which I absolutely loved. Amber is incredibly easy to work with — we didn’t feel any of that awkwardness that sometimes shows through in pictures when a photographer is capturing an intimate moment.
Amber was a true professional from beginning to end — she responded to emails and text messages promptly and her online billing interface made it so easy to pay and keep track of payments — I had other vendors who lost checks/​billed me twice etc. but I never had to worry about that with Amber.
The day of the wedding was a blur for me — Amber made sure that our first look was executed perfectly and captured many shots before the ceremony so that the wedding party didn’t have to miss out on a huge portion of the cocktail hour and reception to take photos — I love that! She even set up a digital photo frame at the reception so that guests could see some of the pictures shot earlier in the day. Everybody loved it!
After the wedding, she posted a «sneak peek» almost right away. What a thrill to see some photos of the big day! She sent us photo magnets to enclose with our thank you cards and a link to an online gallery to share with friends and family. She added personal touches to everything from the consultation to the slideshow she sent us afterwards. You really get the sense that Amber is passionate about her work and cares about her clients (sounds cheesy as I type it but it’s true!).
The whole process was simple and painless — a real gift when dealing with the stress of planning a wedding. The photographer was one thing we never had to worry about!

Hiring Amber to shoot our wedding was the best decision of our wedding planning process. She is hands down, the best wedding photographer in Sacramento! Her prices are affordable (unlike some of the other photographers on my venue’s «preferred vendor list») and the quality of her work is amazing! Definitely the best value we found.
From the moment we met her, we could tell that Amber has a unique blend of professionalism and artistic vision. She communicates well, is conscientious, her contract and pricing are clear, she shows up on time, her attitude is warm and friendly, and she provides an end product in a timely manner. Amber was able to successfully manage our family and wedding party (using charm and wit instead of yelling like some photographers I’ve seen at friends’ weddings) and rolled with the flow when we were running a little late. Her calm demeanor and positive attitude put me at ease on my wedding day.
Amber also managed to get incredible shots of people who don’t pose for pictures (children, shy family members, goofy people who seem to always make faces, etc). We ended up with a variety of beautiful pictures and not a single one appeared fake or phony.
Simply put, you will not regret hiring her.

I was a bit reluctant before our family photo shoot. I was not in the mood to be posed and jump through hoops and look goofy… it turns out I had nothing to fear! Amber is fun, relaxed and creative and we all had a great time with no stress. The photos came out great and it was a true family experience instead of an awkward fiasco as I have experienced with other photographers. Amber is the best, hands down! She shot my beach wedding in Southern California and i couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She knew what shots she wanted at all times and made us laugh while doing it. Don’t even think of hiring anyone else~Amber is the only one you need.
