I wouldnt say this place is the best tanning salon in town, but not the worst either.
The staff are all stuck up girls that have no customer service skills. Even the management could be a lot better. Their beds on the other hand are pretty great, i like them more then Calsun. Although, with that said, I would never pay full price for their airbrush or tanning sessions only because of how expensive they are. If you are able to get a special deal that they occasionally have, DO IT. if you can put up with snobby girls for 10 minutes you will get through it. I had a very good airbrush and the girl that did it was friendly.

Wonder if ill ever be able to actually try this place out. It’s been closed despite their posted business hours. Tried on a Saturday at 7PM. Nope! Monday at noon? Nope!

Not Impressed!
Althoug’hPlanet Beach has a variety of different beds & services, the beds were dirty and that’s a deal breaker for me. Unfortunately, I was already in the bed when I noticed the top of it, including the handle has obviously not been wiped down.
The prices were also high $ 11 for a single tan. Even their «specials» were really that special.
I’m really disappointed. Cute Salon but not worth it.

They offers red light therapy. Red light therapy can help with a variety of skin conditions, such as acne, rosacea, scarring and eczema, as well as improving skin quality. The owner and the girls that work there are incredibly kind.

Best tanning salon ever! Brand new beds and technology.
This is the first salon I’ve been to that has an extremely knowledgable, professional staff that does what’s best for the customer rather than trying to sell add ons at every visit.
Victoria and Toni are awesome and will truly help you achieve the color you are going for by helping you choose the right beds and product.
I was able to experience all beds my first month with the new guest promotion.
Highly recommended. Keep up the great work Planet Beach, and thank you for the excellent service!

LOVE LOVE this place! As a slightly brown Mexican, I don’t need to tan during the summer, but the services they offer are so much more than just tanning! They have a hydration bed, red light therapy, sauna… things that are actually GOOD for your skin!!! I live all the way in Fair Oaks, and the drive is so worth it. The girls there are always so nice and not snobby like at other tanning places which shall remain nameless but rhymes with… Calistoga Son. ;)

Love this salon! Throws competitors Prices out the window, and the service is unmatched! I have been to many other salons and Have not seen as large of a product selection or such a range of equiptment. This salon changed my mind about tanning salons and I will be a long time member!

Horrible spray tan! I asked for a clear but theirs is half bronze half clear and it was streaky– stained my skin for a week! The girl was horrible at explaining the process. Would never go there again! — at least not for spray tan
