Nancy is super sweet and I enjoyed my shopping experience here. I thought the prices were very reasonable and the selection was good.

I’ve shopped at Belle Mode forever and LOVE this store. The owner is friendly, personable, and goes out of her way for every customer. They have a good selection of most everything. You are shopping USED-not new-so don’t expect to find everything under the sun. I am always satisfied with my purchases which are clean, with no repair or stains, and the prices are the best!

Rudest staff ever. Clearly the owner has a chip on her shoulder. The clothes were at least clean, but not a great selection. Will never go back.

The store is ok but as donor of clothing articles its terrible. The owner talks too much to other people in the store while your trying to show her the items and she is always in a hurry. I don’t think she was fair and a lot of the merchandise I brought in was not sold and not returned. I don’t trust her at all. Never go there again. I should of listened to other people to dealt with her.

Love this business for many years. Always can find just what I wanted even if I didn’t know it until I saw it. Return often because items come in all the time!

This review is solely based on my experience shopping at Belle Mode. I have never consigned anything here. I was in the area with a girlfriend and decided to stop by to take a look. I’ve been to a handful of consignment shops in Folsom and have not been to Belle Mode. When I walked in, I was greeted by the associate behind the counter. Super friendly. You will also notice that the boutique has an aromatic smell to it, maybe too much air freshener? Anyway, I looked at their dress rack but couldn’t really find anything that I loved. Totally bummed because I am a total dress girl! I immediately noticed that they do have a wide assortment of brands. You can find all types of brands here including high end brands and lower end brands. You can also find tons of name brand purses for sale including Coach, Dooney, Lamb, etc. I found a cute and fun old navy skirt for $ 9, a designer work skirt for $ 16 and a pair of Seven Jeans for $ 50. I even used my Unilocal coupon and got $ 5 off a purchase of $ 30 or more. The prices were not as discounted as some other consignment shops but I really liked the items that I did purchase and didn’t mind paying what I paid since the items fit so well. I hope to be back for more purchased in the future!

I enjoyed this store very much, staff were very helpful, clothing was easy to find and not all crammed together. I was looking for work clothing and it is great for that. I will have to say that if you are younger than me(46), you might want to look somewhere else, as another reviewer wrote, its not exactly young and hip.

Went there with my Madre today to do some shopping. They are having their color coded sale going on. The owner was lovely and attentive. I can see where other reviewers are coming from with their assessment of older age/business type of clothing. However I was able to find some rather cute younger generation tops and bottoms. Bought two rather cute going out tops for 25 bucks all together. My mom bought some tops and bottoms for about 50 bucks. A successful stop. Will be back!

This place is a SCAM! I buy name brand clothes from Macy’s, Nordstrom, Limited, Anthropologie etc. I am a clothe-aholic and rarely wear clothes more than a few times. So, needless to say I had a full wardrobe that I wanted to purge so I could get a few more things. I thought consignment might be a good idea. With Belle Mode, I think not. FIRST of all… I dropped off about 30 clothing items and about 10 pairs of shoes. When I went to pick up rejected items they gave me back 15 items of clothing and no shoes and said they accepted 4 items of clothing. When I inquired about the missing items she looked through the back room and could not find anything. I noted the missing items and let it go… mistakes happen, but I was already skepticale. So, they said the 4 items they were keeping were going to amount to about $ 200. I said fine… and donated the rest. So, a couple of months pass and I call to inquire about the remaining items sale price and to request a check. They said that my balance was $ 14 and they would send me a check. $ 14!!! This place is a scam… i don’t see how I can only get $ 14 for 7-mankind jeans, INC dress, and similar items. They don’t have that good of deals for sale either. I looked around a couple of times and wouldn’t buy anything there. I will never go back here!

In 50 years I’ll probably really like this store. The prices aren’t that low and the merchandise isn’t exactly designer. Frankly Gap and Old Navy aren’t high fashion to me. There is a heavy scent of perfume inside so I had to make my visit quick. I wish it felt younger and hipper. Also, I’m not sure how this place got such high reviews in Sacramento surveys. This can’t be accurate.

As with any used store, what you find can be hit or miss. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything to buy when I went but was happy to see both high & low brands, some items with the tags still on, & all sizes(even plus). Yes, most items there were overpriced, but if you can find the right colored tag for that days sale then you can get a good price.

Amazing store! Owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. This was my first time here & I was SO excited to find such great designer handbags, jeans, shirts, dresses, shoes, accessories at such low prices! Everything is authentic, clean & cute! She had handbags from Coach, Maxx, Jessica Simpson, B. Makowsky, Michael Kors, and they were all practically brand new(one of them was brand new w/the $ 268 tag attached –selling for $ 138)! Its my new favorite store & cannot wait to go back. She had lot a lot of Bebe, Juicy Couture, BCBG, Guess, Rock&Republic, Michael Korrs, and too many to name them all! Absolutely FABULOUS store!!! LOVEIT!!!

I’m sure this is a great place for women over the age of 50 to find clothes but for anyone my age, this is not the appropriate place for me to shop. I would probably send my mom here. I found all the clothes and accessories a bit too frumpy for my own taste. The woman at the register was nice, acknowledging me all while helping a customer … which usually never happens when staff is in the middle of helping someone. They had a decent inventory of clothes, purses, and shoes. Not exactly the store for me but more a place for my mom.

When I read Belle Mode received Sacramento’s Best Consignment Store award 2 – 3 years in a row, I was dying to go back(I had only gone once when they had different owners). I figured they must have expanded it or that it had gone through a dramatic change. But, unfortunately, it is the same store I visited before. I cant figure out why in the world this store would receive recognition as it is a small, cramped store with nothing that draws you in or makes you want to stay. It doesn’t have the energy level that Freestyle has(music videos playing, hip vibe) or the elegance that Renaissance offers. It’s bland. The clothing is way overpriced. A used blazer for $ 40? Perhaps the consigners love the store because they probably get more in consignment dollars that they paid for the item. Honestly, most of the stuff I saw can easily be picked up at a thrift store these days. The one positive I found was the young woman working was very personable(she was not the owner). Update(response to Nancy’s comment to my post): Nancy, I appreciate your comments, but please try to take a constructive approach to consumer reviews. As an owner, consider what you can do to improve your business in the areas that people may not review favorable. Ambience, selection, prices are all very important to the consumer. I have no idea how your store could have received so many votes, unless of course you did a great job asking your consigners to vote. That would make sense — your consigners want people to buy their items, so they vote. But, realistically, if you compare your store to the big players in the Sacramento area — Renaissance, The Moth Hole, French Cuff, … Belle Mode absolutely pales in comparison. It just does. There is really nothing about Belle Mode that sets it apart. The others have a far greater selection of clothing and offer higher quality clothing at better prices.
