If there’s no room across the street at Woody’s, Dolphin Deli is a great second choice. No pizza here (or draft beer) but the sandwiches are FAR superior. Fresh meats and cheeses abound, and you can build your own or choose from some of the established stuff on the menu.
A guaranteed satisfier if your belly’s making noise while you’re on Folly Beach. Check it out

This is the kind of place I like. It’s not fancy, it is, in fact, the sort of place you’ll miss if you’re not paying close attention. But if you miss it, you’ll really miss it.
There isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a plain deli, such as you might find in a number of other locations, but it was a wonderful surprise. They even brought out little dolphin snack bags (like goldfish, but it’s not the goldfish deli, is it?) for the kids while we waited.
The food was great. The cheese steak was excellent (not that they are hard to make), the burgers were good, the kid’s sandwiches good too. Perhaps the best meal we had all weekend.
