I am a representative from Taxco Sterling B terminal at Dulles airport and the current review is related to the comment from 6÷30÷11
I have the feeling that this is the lady who called me «bitch» three times because she brought broken peace without receipt, 8 months old (maybe more), scratched and I could not do anything about it. Our policy is usually 14 days but we are flexible because this is airport location. Then she asked me for 30% discount which I am not allowed to give and after I said we can not at this moment she called me «bitch».
Dear customers this is not how we do business. We will be happy to exchange an item if it breaks due to defect (which usually shows the first few times when you wear it) but we can not do anything if the item is 8+ months old and worn many times. If you buy sunglasses and you drop them on the floor no store would give you refund or exchange. Please use your common sense and if you let us know nicely we will try to work something out with you but we definitely do not tolerate disrespectful behavior.

Stopped in here at the airport as I have always loved unique silver products from Taxco and could see the variety of exotic items they had inside the store. Most of the larger items are very expensive (decorative bowls or pitchers with silver lizard or bird handles, etc.); however, I have seen similar Taxco home items at Neiman Marcus in the past and the prices were comparable, so I don’t believe the store was jacking up the prices. I ended up buying a unique sterling silver, segmented snake necklace for a reasonable price and received 20% off as well. All of the jewelry was fairly unique and I doubt you’d see someone else wearing the same thing. The saleslady was very nice too. If you are looking for a unique item for the home or jewelry, I recommend stopping in if you don’t mind paying a little more for something you’re not likely to find elsewhere.
