With t swirl competing with eight turn in the city, I think my winner is t swirl. If you’re more of a quantity person, eight turn tends to pack their crepes with a little more oomph than t swirl. However, I prefer the batter in t swirl more because the crêpe is able to stay firm despite the ice cream and other toppings. If you’re thinking French crêpe this won’t be what you’re looking for because they’re pretty different. Though it might be a new type of crêpe that you’ll be seeking out more often :)

Today was the first time I decide to stop in to this eatery in Flushing. I was presently surprised of the twist on crepes that was being displayed at this eatery. When you think of crepes you think French, but this twist on japenese crepes had me surprised. I actually was very satisfied with the Chicken Teriyak Crêpe & Banana & Chocolate Crêpe. If you are in Flushing please stop in and checkout the menu and try a crêpe or two.

I’ve been here once before and I wasn’t blown away by the crepes, but I decided to give them another chance. I order the chicken teriyaki crêpe which came to around $ 8 after tax. It was a lot bigger than I remember and what I was expecting. It was tasted really good and fresh, but kind of messy to eat. The service could have been better though. I walked in and there was only one person waiting for her food and despite having ordered, I had to reorder after the girl got her food.

I got the blueberry NY cheesecake crêpe(a little over $ 7.50, which was delicious! Crêpe was perfectly crispy, and I really liked the custard/cheesecake inside with the blueberries — it was even better with the scoop of ice cream they put on top! My boyfriend also got an iced coffee(1.75) with soy milk, which was surprisingly not bad considering I’m not a big fan of soy milk. One crêpe is probably enough for 1 person because the way it’s presented makes it hard to share with another person(it’s a cone-shaped crêpe with ice cream on top). Seating area is pretty minimal and apparently it gets busy at times so I guess their presentation was meant for on-the-go, which is convenient!

BESTCREPE I’VEEVERHAD! T-swirl crepes are absolutely phenomenal! They are actually thin and crispy but at the same time very chewy. I came here after on a weekday afternoon and there was no line at all, Which I was very happy about. I ordered the Matcha Azuki red bean crêpe which is one of their most famous menu items. It is around $ 8 and plus tax its like $ 9, yes at first I cringed at the price and felt bad, but after tasting this amazing crêpe it was completely worth it and even though i was super full from it it left me wanting more. —– Ambience: its a pretty small place and there is like three stool seats by the window, so i wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are looking to sit down. Best to take it to go. The décor is really nice though. Customer service: The staff here is pretty nice and the cashier is patient too, the workers are all hard working, and some cute guys as well ;) ladies ~~~ FOOD: YESBESTFORTHELAST this is the best crêpe place I’ve been to, I have had lots of crepes in my life and trust me this is very good. Its thin but crispy and the top of the crêpe is decorated so very beautifully. LADIES and GENTs! Definitely instagramable! The matcha azuki red bean is possibly the best flavor combo here(if you like green tea) if not I recommend you to get the chocolate one which is like the same but with chocolate. They put red bean paste in here and I think thats one of my FAVOURITE things and the red bean paste they use is very special and good and it almost tastes like… cream cheese? Haha then they put in bunch of their matcha sauce which is AMAZING and what I like to call the CRACK sauce which is the white yogurt sauce they have. The guy was very generous and gave me lots of cream and a big scoop of matcha ice cream *BTW the matcha ice cream is very good! It has a strong matcha flavor* And topped off with beautiful pocky sticks. orgasm-able looking crêpe is very foodgasm indeed. REMINDER: the top of the crêpe is good but not phenomenal, but as you continue going down farther and allow the ice cream to melt it will taste like HEAVEN in your mouth. TIP: PLEASEREAD!: there are many options here but I have to tell you whatever you get you HAVE to get it HAVEHAVEHAVETO get it with a scoop of ice cream! Just trust me ! the ice cream elevates it 10x better and if you let it melt just a little bit it is sooo good. It costs extra $ 1.5 for the ice cream but gurl do not save your money here this is so good with ice cream. Okay enough ranting i could go on forever and ever, Do yourself justice and come here your welcome

I’ve been here about three times and every time I come here, there’s either left over toppings smeared on the floor where the seating areas are or used tissues on the seating area. The place isn’t big, I get that and the crepes are good enough for a late night snack. However I do think that with 5 people behind the counter station, you would expect one of them to at least go around and make sure the seating areas are cleaned up for incoming customers during the times that are slow. Granted that this place opens til 11PM everyday but seriously it makes it look bad that the staff are already cleaning up AND it looks like they’re closing the place around 10PM. This makes passing-by customers peer in and walk away; you’re really losing their business and money. I would have given this place two starts but decided with three because they have a water dispenser station.

Had been here w/my boyfriend awhile back. Although it is an extremely small store, they make the best crepes, and the best part is watching them make it right in front of you! I remember getting a chocolate almond crêpe and he got a vanilla shake. Both were so delicious, we definitely had to get a frequent buyer card… Way better than the crêpe place in new world mall food court… it’s pricier, but the crêpe quality is worth EVERY penny.

This place must be very popular. I went there around 3:30pm on Friday, and it was packed. The décor n sitting spots are good. I ordered matcha chocolate truffle. Yummy. First of all, it looks so beautiful and smells so good. And I love the fact that they put yogurt in it, so it balances the sweetness from chocolate with a bit of sour from the yogurt. I wish I can try the mango favor one next time or the savory ones. Definitely will come back.

Tried their Matcha Azuki Bean Crêpe while on an outing with friends. Soooo good! :D I didn’t have the guts to try their savory crepes, but I definitely will go back for more. Wish they have more seating, since I would’ve loved to stick around while enjoying my dessert :).

Cute little creperie place. Tiny in fact, with about 6 seats overall. A short walk from Flushing-Main St station, T swirl crepes is convenient for a crêpe on the go. When you walk in, the smell of coffee hits you. The have a small espresso maker so you can enjoy a coffee should you want to pair it with your crêpe. There are a number of crêpe flavours, such as chocolate banana, matcha with azuki red bean, matcha chocolate, and mixed berry. They also have savoury flavours. But we were there for dessert. We ordered the matcha chocolate truffle crêpe with slices of fresh strawberries and crushed pistachios. We also ordered the mixed berry crêpe with strawberries, blueberries, and custard cream. Both were delicious, with a great textural contrast between the crunch of crêpe, sweetness from the strawberry and pastry cream, and softness of the blueberries or chocolate truffle bits. Neither of these were overtly sweet, which I appreciated. The matcha however could have been a bit more prominent and perhaps was lost in the combination with chocolate truffle. I like that this place serves iced lemon water to cleanse your palate while eating their crepes. I also like that the crepes at T swirl crepes are made of rice flour, which makes it compatible for those looking for a gluten free dessert. Hope to come back to try more of their dessert crêpe options.

I love the they always welcome you when you enter and offer a menu to help you decide which amazing crêpe you want to try. Another plus is the ambience, with the upbeat music, and the current festive décor. The second time I was here in October the crêperie was decked out with Halloween décor. Now it’s Easter themed. They definitely keep the atmosphere fresh. Pros: The cashier is always very friendly and helpful with the menu. There is a variety of sweet and savory crêpes. My favorite savory one continues to be the Teriyaki chicken!

Five stars… and some more if I can! I could eat these crepes all day long, every day, for the rest of my life. The Matcha Azuki Bean crêpe is like a dream. It has japanese green tea ice cream with a little bit of red bean on top of the ice cream; the crêpe is layered with fresh strawberries, matcha cream, and whip cream of some sort. The crêpe is soft but somewhat crunchy, and it’s just the right amount of sweetness. If I describe any more I’d start drooling… you get the idea. The staff were extremely friendly. The space is small, but clean and well decorated. The display crepes don’t do the real crepes justice! I wish they open a store in DC! Unilocalers beware! This store will ruin all other crepes for you, because it’s so freaking good!!!

I was seriously blown away by the dessert here. 0.0!!! A must try if you are around the area! My sister and I came here and shared a Green Tea Azuki Bean crêpe. What amazed me was that every bite was something different. All the crevices of the crêpe was used. So I’ll walk you through the experience. You get your crêpe, grab a spoon. Start with taking a spoonful of the green tea ice cream in the middle. Mm. After a couple scoops of ice cream, you decide to take a bite from the crêpe. The layers are thin and crispy and the outside is subtly sweet. Yum. You bite adjacent, and get a strawberry with cream. Nice. Take another spoonful of ice cream and take a bite from the other side. Matcha cream cream… whoa. Maybe have a bite of kiwi with that, or maybe the pocky stick. You finished probably half the height of the crêpe, so you ditch the spoon, and just take bites until thing thing’s devoured. The further down you go, the bigger the combination of ingredients you’re eating, til every bite has green tea ice cream, matcha cream, yogurt cream, and fruits. Gahh it was just so good. Can’t wait to come back and the different crepes on the menu.

The egg white mushroom w/truffle goes so good with the baby spinach! Very refreshing and am not feeling sinful after finishing a whole crêpe! The more important thing is that all the staff are very very friendly. You can ask them for recommendation, they would be very willing to help you out within all the tempting choices!

Crepes make Steph happy. Made to order, sweet to savory and all fresh! They even put them in paper cones! Last time I ate a crêpe out of a cone was in Paris, so as you can imagine, I was more giddy than a kid on her birthday to try this place. It was dinner(ish) time so a savory crêpe was in order. My thai shrimp crêpe was in my hands before I could stay pattaya 5 times fast. It was GLORIOUS. The outside was crispy, the peanut sauce warm, and the shrimp seasoned and hot. I would image the bottom of the crêpe gets super soggy in the cone, however It wasn’t around long enough for me to figure that out. The water to sip in the waiting area is a nice little touch. The store is tiny with not many seats so expect to roam around or hastily eat it in the car like me. I’ll be back. The matcha chocolate truffle crêpe was calling to my sweet tooth.

First time here today and I had a very good experience! I was looking for a dessert place after having dinner, and a crêpe sounded delightful. So as I came in, the place was empty, and I was greeted by the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. I was contemplating for awhile because they had a lot of yummy options(savory and sweet crepes), but I decided on the Matcha Azuki Bean. I actually thoroughly enjoyed my crêpe from start to finish. The toppings were all well placed so I had the same tasty bite every time. What stood out was the green tea ice cream, it was really good! But all the components worked well together and I totally devoured it. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a dessert spot to go to and you’re in the area!

My favorite spot for sweet crepes right now. I always grab the fruits cocktail one which comes with everything, and then I order a scoop of matcha ice cream with it! It is huge! So have a lighter meal right before if you are grabbing this for dessert or your can share it! The service here is quick and they are available on Flushing Foods too! The prices are reasonable too.

The crepes is very good. Crispy on the outter layer, soft and with right amount of yogurt/ice cream/fruit filling inside, which didn’t make it soggy at all. One bite, you are in a world of sweet dream. Although would prefer a lower price, but just couldn’t resist its goodness.

It was pretty Good but looks way better then it tastes, Nothing special… Just a thin pancake wrapped around some green Tea IceCream… I’d rather just have the IceCream to be honest but that’s not available… Weird… But anyway 7 — 10 dollar price tag doesn’t Justify a return trip… Try it once for the experience… Nothing more…

I loved this place. But very out of the way so get ready to feel like you’re futzing around in some isolated Chinatown alleyway. Warm wooded interior with apothecary bell jars showcasing replicas of Japanese style crepes almost too nice for where it is. But tiny inside, don’t expect to sit down. This is a takeout joint. The crepes are as heavenly as they look, that’s all I can say. The cellophane cone bag w/handles makes this the perfect takeaway snack.

T-swirl was a lot better than I thought it would be, maybe because of the location which made me had low expectations but hey, they proved me wrong. The service was great. The girl and guy behind the register was so sweet and kind, they smiled! The menu is pretty straight forward in what kind of crepes they have, the price is pretty standard for a crêpe in NYC nowadays. My friends and I ordered the Matcha Chocolate Truffles, Blueberry New York Cheesecake and the Lychee Romantic. The crepes are made fresh and you can see the detail they put into assembling the crêpe behind the counter. I love the texture of the crêpe, the center was soft while the edges are crunchy. One small thing — the crêpe isn’t exactly full size. What I’m trying to say is that the batter when placed on the pan and spread out doesn’t cover the entire pan, which means you don’t really get the whole crêpe experience. But, that’s just my pet peeve…

I’m not a crêpe lover, but i love these ones! I love how convenient i can eat the crêpe, but more importantly, i love their flavors. I ordered #10 Chocolate Nut Party coz i always get chocolate if i want something sweet. It’s basically a crêpe rolled into a cone shape with all the good stuff in there. Good stuff equals chocolate sauce, cream, syrup, pearls, truffles(all chocolate!) plus whipped yogurt and a bunch of nuts and a couple Pocky sticks. What can i say… There’s no other way to have desert! My wife had #5 Matcha Chocolate Truffles. I didn’t try it so i can’t really comment on it. I did take a picture though so I’ll upload it. If only i can go here everytime I’m in Flushing! PS: i have no clue where they get their ice cream/gelato, but they’re super delicious!!!

I’m not a big fan of crepes but I do have to say that I enjoyed the one that I got here! The only other legit creperie I’ve been to is Eight Turn Crêpe in Soho so I guess the best thing to do is write a comparison review. Décor: T swirl wins! I really liked the Christmas decorations that they put up because it’s very in line with the rapidly dropping temperature outside and the imminent approach of the holiday season. There were also 2 benches to sit at, at T swirl as compared to 1 at Eight Turn and more seating FTW! Service: T swirl had nicer/quicker service. It took forever for me to get my crêpe at Eight Turn but at T swirl I got it relatively quickly after I ordered. Crêpe: I would say they’re about the same. I would say I liked Eight Turn’s crêpe just a little more because I didn’t like the egg-y taste of the one at T swirl. Toppings wise, I think I liked T swirl’s more but the two flavors that I got were completely different so I can’t really do a fair comparison. I got the Matcha azuki bean crêpe and it came with green tea ice cream, strawberries, red bean, matcha cream, and yogurt and I found it to be very tasty. It also didn’t seem as filling/nauseous as the one I got at Eight Turn. Price: T swirl is a little bit cheaper so T swirl wins! I probably won’t be back since, again, I can probably live without crepes. But for those who live in Flushing, love crepes, but don’t want to venture out into Manhattan, definitely give T swirl a try!

I may be a tad late on the new trend of foods in the city. Was reluctant to stumble upon this place with a friend that recommended it. I have to say that the Avocado Shrimp and the Smoked salmon was a delight. This would be a perfect spring/summer type of meal. It still works well during the fall. I also had their sesame shake which was good. Reminds me of Asia drinks when I had it. I have to knock down a star due to Flushing wasn’t as good as the one from the city. If you also have a sweet tooth. The selections of sweets are quite heavy. Good to share with someone! I would stick to the crepes in flushing… Not so good on the drinks.

I love crepes. They are so good. This is the third crêpe place I’ve been to & omg. It is so adorable! They have a various selection of sweet crepes as well as savoury ones. I went with my two coworkers. We had our day off & they had never tasted crepes and I really wanted to try this place out. We all ordered the same one. Chocolate Nut Party. It was soooo gooood! If you are a chocolate person, then you need to have this crêpe. It had whipped yogurt, chocolate pearls & ice cream! I loved that they make the crêpe right in front of you too. I didn’t like that the cashier saw us standing & didn’t take our order. She had no orders & still would not take mine. I had to tell her to take my order. Minus one star for that. I also noticed that they serve free water! With lemons in it. They also have free candy next to that water which is cute. I will definitely come back to try the chicken teriyaki crêpe. My friends & I loved the place.

Out of all the crepes I’ve ever tried, this has to be bottom 2 or 3. For me, the crêpe itself is very important and this place didnt satisfy anything I look for in that bite. Inside the crêpe is already custard cream and chocolate pearls, why is the crêpe itself like biting into hardened sugar?!! I was very surprised when I was chewing. At first I thought it was something inside my crêpe. But as I bit off a piece of the crêpe itself, it was hard and extremely sweet and cold. I understand making a few crepes ahead of time in case of an influx of customers but mine was probably made at least few hours before I ordered. Overall, very dissatisfied. But I did like the chocolate pearls.

I had the strawberry banana crêpe. The presentation is nice and they make it quick but once you are eating away in towards the bottom, there’s hardly anything but the cream and a bit thick crêpe. The strawberries and bananas are only on the top. I think for the price, they put too little ingredients and can improve on their thickness of the crêpe. It was also already made so pretty cold, not warm at all. All in all it was just ok. But would’t go back to this location.

I decided to come here after seeing multiple pictures of this place on instagram! It looked so cute and yummy, i had to stop by the place is really small and only have a few seats so don’t assume you will be eating there when you go! The first time i went, i got the Matcha Azaki Bean crêpe which comes with green tea ice cream, strawverries, red bean, matcha custard cream, and 2 pocky sticks! It was reallllyyy good and not as messy to eat as i thought it was going to be! It costs an addition $ 1.50 if you want a scoop of ice cream on your crêpe and an addition $ 1 if you want any other toppings. The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is that it is kinda pricey because it ended up being around ~$ 9 but its definitely worth it every now and then!

The place is really small, so expect to fight for seats. They make the crepes really quick, got mine in only a few minutes! I got the Matcha Azuki Bean crêpe and it tasted pretty good. The crepes are thin and soft, it was really good. The only thing I don’t like is the yogurt they put on the crêpe, it taste like sour cream and it doesn’t go together with the sweetness for me. Would love to come back and try more of their crepes next time.

T Swirl does crepes right. So thrilled to hear they’re opening locations in Manhattan(and Philadelphia!) in June! I ordered the Angus Short Rib crêpe(Angus Shot Rib on the menu haha) and was not disappointed. The crepes are thin, light, and crispy. T Swirl does a good job with the presentation of the crepes and the ingredients taste super fresh. The beef was good, but was a little too sweet in my opinion. Still a great $ 9 spent though Also got the matcha azuki sweet crêpe to split with my friend. I must say, the sweet crepes are definitely superior to the savory crepes here(though both are great). The yogurt filling wasn’t too heavy and the matcha ice cream was on pooointttt. Seriously delicious I will definitely want to try more of the sweet crepes, though I don’t think I’ll feel like I’m missing out on much if I don’t try another savory one!
