Drive thru Flushing looking a good local bar and we stumble upon the Recovery Room. It looks a bit seedy from the exterior, but don’t let it fool you. This is a great bar.
Small bar with cool patrons and a wonderful older man working behind the bar. My wife and I went in and 45 minutes in we already had 3 drinks bought for us. That doesn’t happen often.
The bar has a pool table and dart boards as well. Good juke box and sports on the TV’s.
The Recovery Room, a cool, divey bar with great patrons and even better drinks.

Great local dive bar that let’s you enjoy yourself. The past two Saturday’s have been fantastic with the addition of bartender Mikey. Quite a ham and a gifted pourer. Definitely will keep rolling into this local gem.

I was happy to find this place while exploring downtown Flushing, all the other bars in the area seem to be Karaōke bars (which is to be expected with the demographics). I had several delicious beers and was overall impressed. The bar atmosphere is divey, but that’s what I like in my bars.
This is down the street from my new favorite dim sum restaurant, so I am sure I will be stopping here again for a post-​lunch/​dinner beer whenever I find myself in New York again.

Great bar great atmosphere a lot of tvs pool table multiple dart boards and the owners are really nice and friendly

I started to come here with my friend that lives near by. It’s a no frills hole in the wall that is perfect for hanging out without worrying about unsavory characters or what you’re wearing. It’s just about having a drink with friends, listening to some music and or playing darts or pool.
It needs a bit of sprucing up, just the pool sticks and seats. The service is good and the music varies from night to night.

It’s a real relaxed environment! They have darts and a pool table too! :D
