The entrance to this place is sus… Before I realized that«entrance» wasn’t really their entrance(You need to trek further into the parking lot) I was afraid that if I went here I would get stabbed by Korean goons or something. But nothing happened and it’s quite a popping place! Competitive prices to other Korean karaōke, and it’s clean(I seriously did not expect this). I went in early afternoon during the weekday, and at Saturday night. Service for both times were good.

This is my go-to Karaōke in Flushing. The Murray Hill location is great for public transportation with easy access to the LIRR or MTA buses. There’s always some café or restaurant to go to before or after singing. The rooms, sofas, and microphones are clean so I never feel too grimy while I’m there. The prices are decent especially during weekdays and earlier hours. Also, I always use my 20% off coupon and they never forget to give me a new one for next time.

Open Karaōke is situated in the heart of Murray Hill, right across the street from the LIRR. The best karaōke joint in the neighborhood, if you’ve been eating and imbibing in this area and are in the mood to sing, no need to travel out to Northern Blvd! I don’t believe there’s an English sign, but it’s brightly lit in neon pink lights across the street from GugongTan. This clean establishment is run by a friendly Korean man and a few staff. The rooms are a bit smaller than their Northern Blvd counterparts, but there are a couple of huge rooms if you were planning to have a huge group here. Their mics are cordless and they provide those sanitary mic covers. The songs are updated frequently. The service is generous; it’s not uncommon that they’ll bring you a couple of soft drinks(They have a decent variety of Korean drinks like Milkis and Sacsac Grape! Of course, they have Coke and Sprite as well.) or even beers on the house. Also, they give you a bowl of Shrimp chips as well. Open late everyday, Open karaōke is a great way to end the night on any day of the week!
