I like to study outside of my home because I feel like I can study better. This place is awesome for opening till 12am.(Great hours) And the baristas are really friendly. However, the wifi doesn’t work half of the time. What’s up with that? That honestly took off a star, sorry.

Wandered in on a Saturday morning to kill some time and get some work done. I found it a tad odd because when I walked in, there were no baristas behind the counter, they seem to have a tendency to hide in the backroom(I digress). The café is cute with its décor and their cappuccinos are pretty bomb(peep the pictures). There is plenty of seating in this cozy café. There are not that many outlets in here so charge your electronics before hand if you are trying to grind! The atmosphere was mainly private conversations with pop songs playing at a tolerable volume in the background. $ 5 credit minimum.

ok, so i went there with two friends this afternoon. we ordered two pieces of lady M cake and a latte and an ice tea. After my girlfriend finished her coffee she wanted to have a cup of warm water, so i went up to the register and asked the girl works there. Guess what? she said NO, coz i didn’t order anything! fine, so then my girlfriend went ask herself, and the girl works there told her, basically coz she thinks that my girlfriend will give the water to me, so they want to charge her 50 cents for it! Come on people, really? We end up got the warm water she wanted coz I said the them: just watch us, I’m not gonna drink any of that precious warm water! CHEAPBASTARDS, DONTGOTHERE!

I love the atmosphere in this café. It usually doesn’t get too loud and you can study or do your homework here. They have a wide range of tables and seats that you can sit at. There are couches and then there are the big wooden tables. It’s a very cozy place and the size of it is decent. The décor here is also cute! A big plus is that they do sell the lady m green tea crêpe cakes here(they’re a little pricer but if you think about it, you save your metro money to go to the city to get it) The coffees and teas are usually very ‘authentic’. My boyfriend got a caramel macchiato thinking that it would be sweet like the one from starbucks but no. it was STRONG coffee flavor(which isn’t a bad thing. just not what was expected). Now for the food… the cakes are usually okay because they don’t make it themselves they buy it from other stores like lady m I did try the waffle with fruits and whipped cream and it was delicious! The tea set was the biggest disappointment. It looked very nice but it was not worth it. Everything just tasted bleh and it was just not good. I could’ve done better if i made it myself.

Moon café. Such a cozy café. I’ve been here a couple of times. I love that it is nearby where I live. I also approve of the décor. The big yellow lights and snowflake decorations add a nice touch. Their milk tea is good :) I’m a big fan of that. Their pineapple paradise smoothie is nice and yogurty flavored. It wasn’t overpowering and sweet. It is a big pricey for its size though. It is a good spot for children, adults or a group of friends.

I got a passion fruit green tea with jelly. After tax, it was a little over $ 4. It was a little expensive, but I figured it would be worth the time I spent being productive a the café. That was until I found out that the WiFi would not connect the entire time we were there. Aside from that, the drink was atrociously sweet. I had to dilute the drink with half of the bottle of water I was carrying to reach a tolerable level of sweetness. I could be statistically incorrect, but I’m pretty sure that drink is the sole cause of diabetes. It’s not a particularly comfortable café. The lighting is very dim, and it’s not a great place to get work done(read: no working WiFi). They have tables as well as two couch areas. They seemed quite dirty, but we also wanted to be near outlets, which were really worn out and seemingly at a high risk of electrocution. Overall, I don’t see myself coming back.

I always come to here because they have the best dessert Lady M that i like it very much. I don’t need to travel to city to get a piece. Also they have good service, workers always come with smile feeling like friends. And also also the most impressive me which is window display. they have been changed it every season. I especially like this winter season. It is so elegant, and creative.

We went there around 10 on a Monday night, it was quiet. Nice to have girls talk in the atmosphere. We ordered the waffle paradise and toast with ice cream. The waffle was hard, it felt like they reheated the waffle instead of making fresh. The toast was ok, they put sugar all around it. We think it’s would taste better with honey or condensed milk.

Today I ventured into this hidden gem for something to «wake me up» and purchases a mocha Frap and was very happy about my purchase. First off it was better than Starbucks, you get the flavor of the chocolate without the drink being overly sweet as well as the taste of the coffee without the any bitter after taste. Also I was very happy with the service. The cashier was very friendly and informative. The atmosphere was quiet and the shop was clean. For these reasons I will revisit. :)

Visited here bc I needed a place to study that wasn’t too crowded. I loved it! The décor is super cute, with hipster clock/time/moon theme going on. I got the potted plant dessert, which was 3 scoops of icecream, a layer of whipped cream on top, crumbled oreos, and a couple of berries to top off the look. It was pretty good, though I don’t think it was quite worth $ 7. The ice cream I got was red bean, green tea, and cookies n cream, but unfortunately by the time I got it, everything was a little bit melted. Was cute and tasty nonetheless. Then I also got the green tea latte. The soy milk base is strong, but the matcha taste was definitely there and the latte art was super cute. ALSO*** They sell Lady M green tea crêpe cake! totally unexpected, but not complaining because I’m def getting that next time. I got a seat by the sofas and an outlet, and was able to get some work done with the free wifi. For all you kpop fans out there, all they played was kpop so enjoy: P

It’s a relatively cute café. I only go to cafes for brunch and a coffee so I can catch up with my friends. The foods and drinks here are a bit over priced. I can honestly see why since some people tend to stay for an hour or two. Like other Unilocalers mentioned, couches were a bit worn and dirty but they had outlets next to them.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER! DON’T COMEHERETOSTUDY! IFYOU’RE A SMALLGROUP, YOURPROHIBITEDFROMSITTINGONTHECOUCHES! I been coming here every Monday for the past 6 weeks for my tutoring sessions which last about two hours. I would always buy something small, whether it be a drink or snack. Today, while in the middle of a session with my tutor, the owner of the café came up to us and said we could not sit where we were sitting. For the past several weeks, we have always sat at the back corner of the café, with the two couches facing each other, since that area is significantly quieter for studying than at the front or middle of the café that’s right in front of the register. The owner went on to say that the couches were only for big groups since it could fit three people per couch. The couches are about the same size as the back seat of a car. It can fit two people comfortably, while three would be a bit of a squeeze. We only took up 1 of the 2 large couches. Mind you, it was MONDAY and there was hardly any people in the café at all. If a group did want to sit on the couches, then we would have gladly moved when they asked, but there were no large groups at all. We asked if it would be alright to move to another seat when the café got busy and the owner said no. That’s it, she didn’t even bother to accommodate in other ways. She could have said to move to a smaller couch that fits two people. I had to ASKFORHERPERMISSION to sit in the smaller couches in the back, but after moving to that seat and realizing the giant peepee stain on that couch and the water dripping from the pipes above, we just left to another café. Guess i’ll have to find another spot for my weekly tutoring. Somewhere where they aren’t so CHEAPWITHTHEIRSEATS on a Monday. Somewhere where they treat regular paying customers with just a little bit of kindness instead of with an «I don’t care“and«no, you can’t». As for the food, it was mediocre. Nothing special about it but a but pricey. There are about 5 flavors of stale macaroons which balances out the overly milky green tea lattes. Eating the dessert platter is like participating in a food eating contest since the ice cream is on the same plate, right next to the candle that keeps the chocolate warm. Anything to get people to come in and out as quickly as possible I suppose. Their business culture is more similar to a fast food joint than a relaxing café. Needless to say, neither I nor my tutor, nor any of his students will be going there to study ever again.

I only tried the potted plant dessert(~$ 7). It’s 3 scoops of ice cream with cream on top and covered in chocolate cookie dust to look like soil. It has two blueberries and a small strawberry on top. It was good — but how can you go wrong really? it’s ice cream, cream, and cookie… It was super cute in presentation though. The inside of the café is also nice too. It’s close to Main Street but away from the hustle and bustle. They had 8 choices of ice cream(not sure if they rotate): chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, green tea, mango, salted caramel(has chocolate covered caramel bits!), cookies and cream, and red bean.

I love the vibe that I get from this place! It has a nice wide open space and a quiet intimate feel with the dark wood and color scheme. The servers are very sweet and efficient and also add to the calming effect. I went during the evening hours and I did not feel rushed nor did it feel loud and rowdy. I throughly enjoyed the drinks! I love the passion fruit bubble tea and the potted milk coffee. It was a cute unique drink. My friend got the Citron tea and it was a bit sweet and still yummy. The prices were pretty good and credit card friendly. I liked that we can choose where to sit and also there was no rush in finishing but maybe bc there wasn’t a lot of people. All in all I really enjoyed this spot and excited to try other stuff on the menu.

Since I work alot outside of the office I like to seek out cook cafes so I get out of my apt and away from the distractions of the Xbox and the couch. This place is nice, lots of space but the couches are UBERGROSS, just plain nasty. I mean come on, why do people sit on them and lay on them? Bad thing is this place literally has 2 outlets and one of them only has 1 plug because the other one is occupied by the year ling christmas tree lights that’s up and they don’t like it when you unplug it. Come on, it’s June! Drinks are ok, I like the Sky Blue also I dont drink coffee so cant tell you about that. They have Lady M cakes and Juniors Cheesecakes and I like their potted plants! Overall a nice place to come and work/study and staff seem nice and laid back. Tho they don’t like it if you play heads up here… personal experience.

I had such a great visit! Honestly, I felt so bad because there was only 1 employee doing literally everything(taking orders, making drinks and food, everything). So I’m pretty sure the customers were getting mad when it took a while for their order to be taken. It was pretty pricey. Their food is average but it was very cute. Their fruits, waffles, etc, tasted normal. But the way she organized it was amazingly beautiful. My mom didn’t like the green tea latte. She thought it tasted tasteless. I agree but it didn’t bother me because I’m used to really low quality food in flushing. The interior design is amazing! It gives you that Paris atmosphere. It automatically made my mom so happy that all she wanted to do was take pictures. The employee is so nice. Thank god she was able to speak mandarin because I was struggling with mandarin. I recommend this place to large groups. Their seatings with large groups are so cute and professional.

The place design was really pretty and I see a lot of people staying there to study, plus they offer free wifi! The Waffle Paradise($ 10.95) and Fruit & Sandwich($ 7.95) was good, pretty huge serving and the fruits were fresh. In my opinion if you let the ice cream melt it make the waffle taste better because it’s plain. The Mango Berry Virgin Mojito($ 4.75) was a little too sour for my taste. They have this place called Joyful Sailing($ 11.95) which is three ice creams on a pineapple, it looks really interesting!

I came here after hearing about the mustache straws! I ordered the honey green tea, $ 3.50. I was amused that they added a mint leaf in my drink, it made it feel fresh lol. The décor is really nice, so nice I wish my room looked like that. The place is very big with a lot of seating. It wasn’t busy when I was there, there was only one other person on his laptop. The place has wifi but my phone couldn’t find it:( I also saw they had pudding similar to the royal pudding at Paris Baguette. I had to meet up with a friend afterwards so I didn’t get it but it looked good, but I’ll probably get it next time.

This place has pretty good coffee. I had the vanilla latte and a sip of my friend’s hazlenut latte. Both were good! They created latte art on our hot drinks, which is a plus for the café environment! They also have lady m milli crêpe cakes, pudding, baby macarons, mojito drinks, teas, and coffees. I didn’t try anything besides the lattes though. The interior is cute and very calming. It was a bit too crowded today so I don’t advise studying here on weekends. There’s free wifi but you got to ask for the password. There’s also plenty of seats of varying comfort to hang out and chat. Credit card minimum is $ 5.
