Lucy Wu Floral Design

I tried to schedule a consultation for my wedding with Lucy Wu. They took down my information and promised to call back soon. It has been 1 week since then. I don’t think they will be calling. If they can’t even return a phone call how can they handle event flowers. Nope, Bye!

This is a long overdue review. I hired Lucy Wu Floral Design for my wedding last May, 2014. This was a huge wedding with 500 guests. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. Lucy exceeded expectations. She created 50 large centerpieces, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres among other arrangements. They were all gorgeous. the pictures speak for themselves.
I would definitely recommend her for large events, small events, anything. Not only is she creative, she was accommodating to our needs and listened to our input. I must have changed my centerpiece design at least three times. And each time she would create a sample centerpiece until we finally got it right.
One of the most impressive things she did was sticking around to take down the floral arrangements from the ceremony and using them to decorate the reception hall. I did not ask her to do this, she was thoughtful and sweet enough to do it on her own.
I seriously cannot say enough great things about Lucy. She is a master at her craft.

Was looking for a specific type of flower on short notice and calling all around the city trying to get them. Lucy Wu was the only one able to come through. Spoke with one of the owners who went way out of his way to find them for me, worked with me to arrange a delivery, and finally had them picked up at a set time. Fantastic customer service, beautiful flowers. Will be telling everyone I know that this is the place to go.

received some GORGEOUS special-​ordered ranunculi, my absolute favorite flower. they were scrumptious and delightful. stunning array, i hope it won’t be the last time i see them! :) iheartlucy

When I tell you the best florist ever I mean it! Lucy wu is now owned by a really sweet gentleman so family oriented. Him and his wife are kind and when you walk in there they make you feel welcomed. His flowers are the freshest I’ve seen yet, they last me more than 2 weeks. He is so knowledgeable about flowers, and creative the things he comes up with are mind blowing. I really recommend him to do your weddings, etc. If you want 4 star treatment for all budgets.

We originally met Lucy as a referral for our wedding flowers. While we ended up going a different route there is no denying that she has amazing creativity when it comes to flowers. My husband ended up ordering an arrangement for my birthday that had everyone at my job drooling over including myself and 2 years later he still uses Lucy for any special occasion !

Beautiful! In the past week I have purchased two arrangements for colleagues’ birthdays and I (and the recipients!) could not have been more pleased. During both visits Jennifer assisted me. She is exceptionally patient and friendly and she worked within my budget, still managing to impress me with her creative, tasteful twist on the floral selections I made. I highly recommend this florist if you are in the neighborhood or simply passing through on your way to see someone special! Ask for Jennifer!

I was part of a wedding party and although I do not know the pricing of the service, I thought the bouquets were beautiful and the flowers to be very fresh. Lucy has a very interesting aesthetic. She takes careful risks that make her arrangements more interesting and attractive than other designers. Really a lovely surprise!

We used Lucy for our wedding flowers in September and she was absolutely amazing. From the intial consultation through the wedding day, I felt completely comfortable and she made my special day even more spectacular.
One of my biggest fears in planning my wedding was the cost of flowers because I heard that the bill can get quite large. My wedding looked lush with flowers (ceremony and reception) and It was extremely affordable!
My bouquet was the most beautful bouquet I have ever seen and my guests are still talking about it.
