Came here today for the first time because I was in the area. Outside and inside very clean and in the afternoon the bakery wasn’t very crowded at all. Cashier wasn’t so friendly and coffee wasn’t expensive(less than $ 2). However the light roast tasted about the same as McDonald’s. Will return though to try the pastries.

The newest Korean bakery location in an already saturated area. It’s smaller than what I usually associate with this franchise, but the space still works. I visited on a Saturday night around 7:30pm. The selection was definitely sparse, but you can’t really hold that against them since bakeries aren’t going to replenish a couple hours before closing. I’m always a fan of Korean baked goods(especially if it’s anything green tea or cream cheese) and my green tea roll(a bit pricey at $ 5.95!) was all that I could’ve asked for when I’m craving something sweet. I also got a taro slush bubble tea(I’m not crazy about the slushie version, but this was still pretty tasty). Workers are nice and the place is clean. Would recommend visiting in the earlier hours so you get a better selection! No idea if it gets crowded, so I’ll definitely need to revisit during a different time to get a better feel for the place.

I bought a cake here for my sister’s birthday. The cakes range from $ 32-$ 48. $ 32 for the regular plain cakes and $ 48 for the character cake. The staff here are incredibly nice and helpful. The parking lot is actually kind of scary to get around. It’s in the basement and I believe there is only one exit and one entrance. So the exit and entrance is the same thing. The cake wasn’t too bad but I prefer cake from Paris baguette.

Nice clean and stylish bakery with most of the single serve baked goods costing about two dollars and change. It’s really casual to work, talk with a friends, read or just sit back and relax. My reason for being there was waiting for someone, so why not order a coffee-decent. And I also ordered a round confection I’m not unfamiliar with. Though the one I ordered at Koryodang is pumpkin filled as oppose to what I’ use to: sesame paste. The fried or baked dough part was also differently done. Inside and outside of the confection is average to good. The staff when I asked a question also seem pleasant and casual as the bakery/café atmosphere. There’s cake and drinks as would any other bakery. Seating is available in the back and front, though I fount the front to be more comfortable, quieter and lower lighting(at night). The restroom is clean and was available.

Great spot to study! I always come here when I’m with a large group because the space is very spacious and has lots of large tables with comfy chairs. I love their selection of teas(muscat tea’s my favorite). Also, it’s one of few cafes in flushing with parking space.

The space is very welcoming. Their savory items are both classic and innovative at the same time, delicious above all. I did not have their cakes yet, but they do look absolutely beautiful. Me and my husband like to spend a couple of hours at the New York Saunas and Spa next door and then get some goodies at Koryodang:)

One of the better Korean bakeries you can find in NYC& Queens in general. The baked goods are always fresh and they offer a great variety. They also have good drinks such as coffee, bubble tea, & other beverages. The space is also pretty huge so one does not have to feel claustrophobic. The staff is overall friendly and offer quick service. Always a pleasant experience here.

Like others, they’re all correct. This place is spacious, nice selection of breads, cakes, cookies and sandwiches. I’ve tried several things and all was very good. Coffee is really good here too. In addition, it is a comfortable welcoming place to sit and have a light lunch or snack. Can’t go wrong here.

Since I’m Asian and love bread and coffee in the morning, I had to check this place out when I saw the grand opening flowers outside of this bakery. First impression of this place when I walked in was that it’s decorated very nicely and everyone was welcoming and always smiling. They also have a great selection of breads as well as sweets. The first time I went there, I had their green tea shaved ice! They gave such a big portion that both me and my bf couldn’t finish, and we were both sharing one! Not that I’m complaining though! Today I went back for coffee and bread. The place was just as clean as it was when it opened and that’s a huge plus for me. The bread was soft and fluffy. I can tell it was fresh! Overall I like this place and would come back again and again. It’s also a great place if you want to grab coffee and catch up with someone because it’s spacious, has a decent amount of seating and the biggest plus of all is the easy parking!

I’m seeing these pop up everywhere. This is a pretty nice and huge koryodang. You can get yourself a bingsoo and hang out with your friends while eating the tasty pastries.

I was walking around in the area with some time to kill and their«GRANDOPENING» sign happened to catch my eye. I thought it would be the perfect place to sit for a while and have a snack. Here is why I would come back on purpose next time: 1) This Koryodang is HUGE. Like… the biggest Koryodang I’ve ever been to! The selection of pastries, breads, and tarts spans one side of their giant wall to the other. They also have spacious high ceilings and plenty of seating. 2) Super friendly service. I was slightly overwhelmed by the number of choices, and I asked a staff member for some recommendations. It turns out… he was the owner! He was super friendly and directed me to his personal favorites. Cool! 3) Delicious treats. My patbingsu was actually made with shaved snow instead of shaved ice(bonus points for that!). The fruits that topped it were fresh, and they were not skimpy at all on the red bean or mochi toppings. I also picked up a Red Bean Bun to go, and it was still fresh and fluffy the next morning for breakfast! It’s true, this part of Northern Blvd. is a bit dead… but this Koryodang is worth the trip!

So far, so good. I’m planning to make more trips here so may update my review in the future but wanted to quickly comment on a few things. The breads are equivalent to those at other Koryodang’s in Queens, probably because they’re all from the original NY branch in Little Neck. All the breads cater to different people and the ones that I enjoy are always delicious. I’ve had my fair share of Koryodang bread. My personal favorites include the Italian croquette, the corn dog, sweet pumpkin chiffon, chocolate roll cake, white bean ball, almond soboro, and the red bean doughnut when fresh out of the oven. Others are worth a try too but I always find myself reaching for these. Tip #1: If you can handle spice to some degree, squeeze a bit of Sriracha on your croquettes(Italian, regular, and maybe even the baked one). Match made in heaven. Tip #2: If you choose to purchase the red bean doughnut and it isn’t fresh out the oven, stick it in the microwave for a couple of seconds and enjoy the warm and toasty doughnut. The drinks are also identical to other Koryodang bakeries. I always enjoy all their teas(iced or hot), their taro bubble tea, the vanilla milkshake, Korean frappés, and hot chocolate. If you’re not familiar with their bubble teas, it’s more of a slushie rather than the bubble teas you’d get from Ten Ren or Quickly’s. They all taste so good and it’s always a struggle for me to decide which one to get. The service I received was great all in all. Most of the workers I encountered were always friendly and sweet. Now, onto my favorite thing about this location: the interior! It’s greatly lit makes you ask yourself, ‘Am I in Korea right now?’ It is similar to the Little Neck branch but I’ve been there too often to even notice it there now. So this location was a great alternative! I love how there are tables in the front and the rear end of the store with many seats to offer. You can see a glimpse of how the inside looks with my attached photos. I might definitely come back simply because of the atmosphere.
