Super friendly customer service and always a great cup of coffee in the morning to start my day. Can’t say enough good things about this place…

I had seen that the hero express had five stars. This is one of the few times that I felt misled by a rating on Unilocal.I ordered a simple roast beef sandwich. I found the roast beef dry and the bread stale. Very disappointed!!!

This is a great place for smoothies, juices and breakfast. They serve lunch here also but I haven’t tried that yet. I love how clean the place is. The people her are also very friendly. This is not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. I totally recommend this place.

Stopped in for the first time. Wasn’t sure what to order so I asked for some recommendations. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and made some sugestions. I went with the Tuna Cuban Sandwich as he recommended. It was Delishhhhh!!! Honestly would’ve never thought to order something like that but I was pleasantly surprised. The toasted bread was yummy with tuna salad avocado swiss cheese pickles lettuce and tomatoes. It all came together beautifully. I would def come back!!! Great food, clean deli and friendly staff. A++++ Thanks!!!

The ball and chain and I stopped in here to get a couple of sandwiches and some sides for a picnic. I had a pepperoni hero and he had a BLT panini. The sandwiches were both very good and we would both order and eat them again. We also got potato salad and macaroni salad. Both of these were very white — both in appearance and flavor. The ball and chain wasn’t into these. I didn’t mind this as I would much rather have starchy salads that are a little mellow on flavor as opposed to overly sweet. They were creamy and mild. The potato salad allowed the potato take center stage. the macaroni salad had the elbows cooked so that they were fat and soft. Perhaps them elbows could have used a little something — I guess the ball and chain has a point with this one. The space is very clean and orderly, has a few tables and the people seem very nice. However, after we ordered in the store we had to wait about 15 minutes to get our food and there were only two other customers. It seems as though they don’t have enough people behind the counter and in back. This may be because of the newness of the business. We didn’t complain but woman who waited on us must have sensed we were a little antsy and as we were leaving with the food for our picnic she made it a point of giving us each a card entitling us to a free iced coffee the next time we came in. That was very nice and most appreciated. I’m willing to give them another shot and I hope they can make things run a little faster. It would be nice to have this place in the area as a reliable go to for a quick, simple lunch or dinner. (This is in Glendale. It’s nowhere near Flushing)
