Please… I don’t even want to begin my review about how overpriced the food here is. The food is not too good either, and it’s very… ugh.

This place is very crowded around 12 – 2 . It looks like a regular lunch room . They have a lot of different choices of food. The food is just okay. The halal in my opinion is the best place to get a little bit of everything. $ 7 you can’t go wrong. The upkeep is good. The chairs and benches are regular. I would never eat in there though. I rather go elsewhere, somewhere much more quiet and enjoy my lunch. This place is very noisy.

Pretty much everything is overpriced and not worth the price. Pretty crummy vegan options, slightly better vegetarian options, but at least they indicate them. If you want to save some money to pay your tuition bring your own food from home, or leave campus if you’re really too lazy to make yourself anything. You can also save money by bringing your own teabags(or instant coffee) and a travel mug, they won’t charge you for hot water!

The only reason why this review has two stars is because in the case I do not have time and I am starving I do get food here and there’s decent wi-fi to be used. Otherwise, as a broke college student the recurring use of «rape» in the reviews is accurate. The prices for the junk food is just ridiculous. The only way you save here is if you purchase one of those combos that cost $ 5.00(Nathan’s) or $ 6.00(pizza). But would you want to do that a few times a week or even a month or even a few months. It’s incredibly bad for you. Other than the convenience, the food shouldn’t cost anywhere near as much as it should. The staff(or rather cooks) for the most part can be a little rude at times as well. They need to offer more than just the junk food or at least options that don’t look like they’re a few days old.

Gross food the chefs are rude. At 11 they don’t want to make breakfast. They are just made about their life. They cross contaminate food when cooking. There is not flavor to the food at all. The worst part it’s ridiculously over priced the only good food is in the kosher café the pizza and sushi is awesome and the Indian food is good too.

The salad bar has a pretty good selection and you can definitely get a pretty decent sandwich. The reason for only two stars is the price. Very expensive for a college cafeteria, but especially for a CUNY school where students expect things to be affordable.

The food court at Queens College does serve pretty crappy food. I’ve read other reviews and saw some of the pictures they posted. Yeah… some of the stuff really stinks but their pizza deal is pretty good for students. 2 slices plus a fountain drink for $ 6 bucks. The pizza obviously isn’t to die for. I know that there are much better pizza joints around Queens and the rest of New York but for what it is and for it’s value in school, it’s not a bad deal.

$ 6.30 for a plain chicken sandwich on Ciabatta, ’nuff said. Literally all it had was chicken and cheese. No condiments, lettuce, anything. Go somewhere else to eat, this place is REALLY expensive even though the food is either ridiculously bland or really salty.

Okay so they just added a Nathan’s, and I’m addicted to the cheese fries! It’s too expensive though. Your better off going to one of the halal trucks outside or something.

Horrible, overpriced food! They take advantage of how students on campus are desperate between classes. Save your money.

cashiers are all nice, friendly, food is decent. not horrible… yes it’s pricey and definitely a lot for what you’re getting. i wish they had a better junk selection. it’s more convenient running through the lines here than trying to fight with the vending machines. will try the coffee next time!

I love that the dining hall is on Unilocal. That being said, it’s quite an abysmal place. You all know the prices are terrible, whether you’re buying prepackaged food, or a slice of pizza, or some dried out scoops of whatever sludge is self-service that day. And you know that the food isn’t the best quality either. And what is with their penchant for putting things in mac and cheese? Buffalo mac and cheese, philly cheesesteak mac and cheese… Just give me mac and cheese! The only bright spot is the Au Bön Pain soups, and that’s because nothing about the making of the soups involves Queens College. They get a plastic sack of frozen soup, the heat up the plastic sack of frozen soup, and — voila! — they get delicious soup they can slap a massive price tag on. I generally try to avoid the cafeteria already, but Nicole V.‘s story has convinced me to actively avoid eating there. I don’t need rodents in my food.

One quiet evening during intersession, I saw a mouse running around the seating area in the Dining Hall. I immediately grabbed all of my personal belongings and reported the rodent to the employees closing the register. They seemed neither surprised or concerned. I then went outside(still not wearing my coat, in the freezing cold) to empty out and inspect my personal belongings to make sure I wouldn’t bring home any unwanted pets. Thankfully I didn’t. This was especially concerning since the kitchen area is only guarded by a metal gate, which the mouse could easily have jumped through. Never bought any food from QC again, and I never bring in my own food to eat in either cafeteria. I don’t even walk through the dining hall anymore, I walk around it outside. Their«B» grading is not low enough.

Absolutely everything sucks here, and I’m truly being honest. Rape prices, disgusting food. Even the packaged food is way overpriced. You might as well take the trip to flushing to get some good food if you have the time to, bring food from home or get some halal food.

SO Expensive. So so very expensive for a sandwich or a burger or even a beverage. It isn’t high dining. They are trying to take advantage of your almost trapped position when you are there between classes and can’t really escape easily. BUTAHA! There are food trucks sprinkled along the perimeter of the college and they are cheap. A large meal can run only about $ 6 bucks and forget paying that doubled up price for a beverage. The food trucks sell the cans of soda and water bottles at reasonable prices.
