They messed up my mother’s hair and made her look like. Troll doll. The stylist refused to admit her mistake even though it was obvious. Even a child inside of the salon commented on my mother’s hair. Very disappointed. I’m never coming back.

I got my haircut here 2 weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to write a review about this place. I’m in the market for a new hair dresser for a few months now so when my mom recommended this place, I decided to try it out. I had shoulder length hair and I wanted to get a bob cut. The hairdresser(Paul, I think) got started right away(there was only one other person getting a cut on a Friday afternoon). I noticed that there is a section on my hair that wasn’t curling in. I mentioned it to Paul and he blames me! He says that my hair is straight and frizzy. How is that possible?!? Isn’t that a contradiction? Now I’ve had bobs before so I know my hair isn’t crazy like he’s saying it is. But I figured he is a professional so he should know about hair. So he blow dries it until it curls under. Okay, maybe it’s my hair… Until I wash my hair and dry it. That’s when I notice that he actually took out a CHUNK of my hair and so it sticks out! Whenever I wash my hair, it’s noticeable that one side is longer and thinner than the other. He didn’t layer it properly and my hair looks flat and lacks body. Don’t go here! If they mess up your hair, they blame you for it! The only good thing is they speak relatively decent English so I could communicate with them.

I’ve gone there twice now. The first time I was skeptical only because I never dyed my hair at a salon before, and it was only $ 59 for color, cut, wash, and style. I asked around at other places like Top Point, Bebe, and Jing Mei, but they were all $ 65 and up once they looked at my hair. It’s also a SET price of $ 59, no matter how long your hair is. I think Dynasty is really overlooked because it’s in the New World Mall. No one really goes there. Well, when I went, it was pretty empty. First time I went, I got this guy David. He’s really nice and he listens. He speaks English, Canto and Mando. Second time, I forgot his name and they asked me if I preferred anyone, but I remembered his face four months later and he helped in cutting my hair. Second time that I went, the assistant dyed my hair instead of David, which was fine. She did a good job. She also washed my hair for me, which was only okay at best. She was really meticulous on how she was dying my hair, which was great. I don’t remember her name though. Both times, my hair turned out pretty good. I will be coming back!
