Great humble neighborhood spot with an excellent selection. Fuente Opus X and an Añejo Shark(ultra rare) today with some BYOB rhum from down the block while taking control of the remote for Sunday football. Rough around the edges. A mans man’s spot.

Nice little place to buy a cigar, smoke a cigar, drink your beer and watch TV. It’s sort of like a stoop for grown ups. They have a pretty good selection although as with all cigars, just make sure to check it out thoroughly to make sure the cigar isn’t too old, broken or stale. The best part about this place is that it’s BYOB. Pick up a 12 pack across the street, come in, get sloshed. The crowd is old and most of them know each other but are friendly none the less. Not a fancy lounge, just a few tables and chairs with a lot of ash trays. Good place if you don’t want to smoke in your apartment where it’ll get stinky or outside where you’ll get a ticket.

Friendly Atmosphere … good for a quick smoke or an afternoon ordeal. A hidden gem amongst the company of some the most consummate people.

Great place for cigar enthusiasts to light one, or a few, and enjoy the moment. A vast variety of quality cigars along with ideal prices, makes this store a gem! Décor could use a little life, but who gives when you’re puffing away on a Liga Undercrown!

A good spot for a smoke. I had been running errands all day and It was my turn to buy the cigars for our nightly smoke. I had been promising my workmate a good cigar for a while but I had yet to find a decent shop. I am definitely a novice in the cigar world so I largely depend on the guy behind the counter to steer me in the right direction. Unfortunately I’ve been taken advantage of in the past as I’ve been sold old stock the proprietor had been trying to unload. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The Good — with a large walk in humidor the selection was impressive. The guy behind the counter, an older Indian or Pakistani fellow, led me to the exact cigars that fulfilled my criteria. Matching the price, I’ll get to that in a bit, and the mildness the guy I work with and I have grown to appreciate. He also sells lighters or torches as they are referred to with a variety cutters and punches. They also sell accessories for your home humidor. There is a sitting/smoking area where, as it was explained to me, you can enjoy your cigar(s) while sipping or chugging any«beverage» you decide to bring to the establishment. The Bad — The prices. As I perused through the selection it was hard to find a cigar less than $ 7. I understand taxes in NY have driven tobacco prices through the roof but I was surprised there wasn’t anything in the $ 3 — $ 5 range. Of course the smoke accessories follow suit and are also expensive. The Ugly — The look of the place. The sign outside says tobacconist and the storefront is reminiscent of a place someone would be sent to be whacked Goodfellas style. The sitting area, previously mentioned in the good, is not too inviting and may turn many off. There is one large projection screen TV with awkwardly facing couches and recliners. The lighting, I know cigar smokers might not care but, is a bit depressing. The place just seems runned down. What I say — Yeah the prices suck. But the cigars where great. I walked in needing two maybe four cigars and walked out with eight cigars, a lighter with a cutter attached, humidor accessories and $ 200+ poorer. And for the record yeah I’ll probably go there with a good friend and bottle of cheer. And some money in my pocket. Cash is king.
