My husband and I decided to have a traditional Paebaek during the cocktail hour of our wedding. My mother called Assi Hanbok in Flushing, and they took care of everything for us! We rented the hanboks, the wedding outerwear, and the full table with ceremonial food layout. Assi Hanbok also provides two nice Korean ladies who run the whole ceremony and help you kneel/​bow correctly. Paebaeks are usually an hour long at least, but they helped us do the ceremony in half an hour because of our time constraints. Thanks, Assi Hanbok!

My mother had her hanbok made here and they did Paebaek for my wedding which included rental hanboks, setup and food in the cost. My mothers hanbok is lovely. They have many hanboks to choose from for the ceremony. Dock one star because when they come to do the Paebaek, one of the ladies is really loud and a bit rude. They were also very careless with the way they dressed/​undressed my hair for the Paebaek ceremony. My wedding hair was messed up the rest of my reception because they just pulled at it. Guests were pleased with the food and enjoyed the experience. Owner is otherwise very nice.

Have bought 4 sets of custom-​made Hanbok here a year ago. Came back here on Monday to alter and exchange two of the Hanbok and she’s still friendly and professional as ever! And she remembered us.
