I am just so impressed. I haven’t even cooked the meat but my freezer is full. It just arrived today, to my doorstep on Catalina Island. Totally frozen, two day delivery as promised. Ordering online was easy and for nerdy real food nerds like me, it was fun and free since I ordered in bulk. I do hate to cut out my fave local farmers market meat guy but I need online ordering and shipping to be affordable, effective and easy. Tendergrass Farm is not on my side of town(or my side of the country) but it has a small town butcher shop feel. Via web interface which may make me seem easy to please or just prove they are on it. I encourage all local farmers to make online shopping a realistic possibility and with the easy to use online platforms available today, there’s no reason not to try. I am a fan of Joel Salatin and his from the heart/gut writing. It was only a bonus to learn Polyface is one of the suppliers to Tendergrass. I am a true sucker for sustainable technology and I pray that this business model is not only kickass for the customers but bonkers crazy lucrative for the farmers. Thanks online Tendergrass farmer friends! I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate what you do, and I can only imagine the hard work that went into the goodness that I feel fortunate enough to receive. Xoxo, Erin WV
