Waffle House

Waited several minutes for a table to be cleared off. 3 open booths but no one would clean them. Once we were seated and ordered, Food was served quickly, doesnt take long for 3 Waffles. Must say only complaint no one would take the initiative to clean off the tables.

When our family arrived in Mississippi we were looking forward to eating at the Waffle House. Unfortunately, we did not eat at a Waffle House until we were leaving Mississippi. On our way to the Jackson Airport we stopped by a Waffle House in Brandon, Ms. The service was extremely slow and some patrons walked out due to the slow service. Our waitress lost our ticket and there was only one cook who was clearly working very hard to get out the orders! The food that we received that was late and mixed up was good but the service was subpar. This Waffle House needs another cook and a head cook.

We’ve only eaten here late at night when they have been very slow, but we’ve always encountered a clean restaurant with very friendly and quick service. Once we order, it never takes long for our food to make it to the table.
I always get my usual which is 3 eggs over-​medium, toast, and grits (sometimes I get hash browns w/​cheese instead of grits). My eggs have always been cooked perfectly here. Sometimes places cook them a little too long and I get more of a fried egg with solid yolk. ICK. But, they do it right here.
Hubby likes to switch things up. Sometimes he gets the Texas Lover’s BLT and sometimes he gets the patty melt. He loves both. They really pile on the bacon for the BLT and it’s cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy, but not burnt.
Gotta love that Waffle Houses are open ²⁴⁄₇!
Great southern hospitality at this Waffle House. It’s definitely one of the better ones I’ve been to!

This is your standard Waffle House, just like all the rest. The staff I’ve encountered is friendly and personable.
There is usually not a wait, but it can get crowded at times due to the small size.
