I meant to update this sooner. After posting my original review, the front desk guy actually called my room making comments about it. It was like me saying they needed better towels was a personal dig at him. I complained to the manager about the unprofessional nature of the face of their hotel, and while she listened, she did not seem to take it serious or do anything about it.

Very nice and well maintained. Friendly staff. The rooms are small studio apartments, with kitchens that include 2 burner stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, toasters, coffee makers, etc. Sadly, there is no pool. But there is a free laundry!

Key Words: EXTENDEDSTAY! This means they are poised to host you for longer periods. There is no daily room service for towels and bed making… that’s ok though. Great value for the $$$

New building, but not for long. The toe nails by the elevator when I checked in on Sunday, stayed there untill I checked out on Wednesday… So not only do your rooms get cleaned once a week, the hotel itself doesn’t either. Plus, the extended stay residents treat it like their dorm from college, drinking and smoking until midnight every night out back. Really annoying, never again.

Stayed here for months for business. Friendly staff, comfortable settings. Smaller TV, once a week room service, and sometimes water that you have to turn on and wait for it to cool down. Had it’s ups and downs but it was fairly nice for an extended stay hotel when many of them have cheap fixtures and old appliances.

Wait… room service once a week? …what? Wait… sooo if I want clean towels? Oh. I have to bring them downstairs? WAIT… does that mean you don’t refil the COFFEE??? Oh hell no. I’m preeeety sure even motel 6 replenishes/refreshes your room! (or at least I assume it does) =x =x Needless to say… I checked out early.

My first time at a Candlewood. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Internet was fast and workstation was good. HVAC was very good. Complaints were:(1) worst towels I have ever used — they were all but abrasive,(2) no listing of TV channels,(3) No refreshers of coffee, cream, sweetner, and shampoo unless you stay seven days(according to the desk),(4) almost all channels had closed caption and no control on remote to turn it off,(5) TV was small for the size of the room and location of the seating and bed — but good selection of channels,(6) recliner was hard as a brick, and(7) no luggage rack in the room. If I stayed here again, I’d have to bring towels from home.
