My new found love! This food ROCKS! the platters are great along with the sandwiches… BUT the wings stand alone. I know everyone has a sauce preference but this is my type of sauce. 10 meaty wings for under $ 10…try Zaxby’s 10 wings for $ 10…No Where Close! The system is easy and the food comes out very fast. Very pleased to find this diamond in the rough.

Best ever lemon pepper wings! They also have great BBQ. Try the Big Daddy sandwich or the baby back ribs. Service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I dropped by on a Tuesday evening after working late. I had a little trouble deciding what to order since I was feeding 5. But they have some great options so I was able to order 3 meals and everyone had plenty to eat. The service was fast and very friendly. I really was impressed with how quickly they got my order ready! Also loved that they went over it with me to make sure it was correct.
We ordered several items, but I was especially impressed with the ribs and the Half chicken. The ribs were easy to eat cause the bone came off when I picked them up.
We definitely will return. Love the service and quality that we got. We have ordered similar items from other restaurants and usually don’t have enough food and paid more!

We used to eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month. The past 2 times the service and food has went downhill. The service dropped off our food and never checked back on us. The smoked wings didn’t have a trace of smoke on them. They were rubbery and half way tossed in sauce. I had to go up front to grab more sauce. I should have returned them but didn’t. My son’s boneless lemon pepper wings were too salty/​peppery and he didn’t eat but a few. I was only able to stomach about half of my wings and left the rest. I grabbed a «how did we do survey» while one of the girls was replenishing the condiments. I filled it out and never heard back from anyone. It’s been 2 weeks. Maybe the manager on duty grabbed it out and squashed it. I also tried to email the general manager but her email came back to me as undeliverable. I checked to make sure that I had it correct and it was. We probably will not return.

Everything is A1! Absolutely delicious! And the cobbler, it wasn’t my choice to get it but it was the best part of the meal. We got the wings and the sampler, all of it is so good. Like didn’t even look at the phone while eating good lol

Very close to a 5 star rating! I’m going to go ahead and explain why… For one, the wings had grease pooled under them. They should be drained before serving! But not a huge deal to me. Also, the tea was too warm and melted all my ice instantly which watered down their wonderful tea! Sad face. Now that being said, Everything else was WONDERFUL. First of all the service was great. I was shown my food before I left (to go order) and he even opened the door for me (my hands were full). Second the food was delicious. Wings were cooked perfectly and juicy. The environment was very inviting and definitely a perfect place to take whole family!

I’ve come here several times since its so close to my home and I’m constantly in this shopping center. Its always hit or miss though… Some visits everything is perfect and others something will be wrong. My last visit has turned me off because it grossed me out.
Ordering is easy, prices are fair and staff is generally very helpful. I love their boneless lemon pepper chicken and my fiancé loves to get Smothered Fries. Smothered fries is fries covered with cheese and your choice of meat which he usually gets pork and then bbq sauce on top. This isn’t on the menu but I believe its like $ 6 and anyone can ask for it. This may be weird but I LOVE the ice here and their sweet tea…
My last visit, we went around 3 on a Sunday and there were only 2 other occupied tables. Service was good. The first table we tried to sit at had food on the chairs and the table was sticky. The table we actually sat at just had an incredibly sticky table… The sauces they have on the table were dripping and had nasty crust on them… There were 2 flys around us that would not leave us alone. at this point I’m wondering if this is what I’m experiencing on the customer side, what’s going on in the kitchen. How many flys are back there? The food comes out and everything appears to look good. When I moved my chicken around I noticed they hardly had any lemon pepper sauce. I ate two or three dipping them in ranch until I chewed on something so hard and rubbery that I could not eat anymore. No, I didn’t let the staff know because I would never send my food back. The smothered fries were fine.
I had a coupon for a free peach cobbler which I gave when ordering and they did bring us the dessert with the rest of the food. I have never had peach cobbler before so I did not know what to expect, It looked like it had melted cheese and I did not like the texture. When I had him try it after he had the piece in his mouth we noticed a long hair baked into it! This about sealed it for me for a while

Good service, good food, fast service, and friendly. Have to keep writing or they won’t post the review. Apparently have to write a book for a review.

Have to give 4 since I’ve never been lead wrong. usually get the combo ribs/​fingers/​pork plate with great green beans and fried okra. Used to go here to get some BBQ, a beer, watch a game in the bar but new owners — bar is going away, no liquor license so have to say for this corner of spout springs road, I’m a bit disappointed that if I want to watch a game and toss back a few, its Taco Mac at the Mall and not near the house any more. But as for food, getting mostly to go now and have not been let down. Friendly staff, not real cheap but worth it. Their spicy BBQ sauce is the bomb!
Now my staple take out, great food, value, staff! Come back!!! Even chicken tenders are all of my kids favorite now. My mom loves the half chicken which is a great value and the potato salad and their potato salad and okra are the best! Food quality and service is why we are here! Good job mgt!!!

When I’m in the mood for a change of pace from my regular BBQ joints I go to Shane’s. Their food is consistently good, fresh and the restaurant is always clean. I get the Big Dad with Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. I seriously cannot skip the cobbler here it’s so good!!! The BBQ is really good too it’s tender and sweet you can almost skip the BBQ sauce but I wouldn’t because the original BBQ sauce is definitely a treat. I am sad to say that the Shane’s near me in Buford closed but I will still make the trip to Flowery Branch to get my fix :)

Great in a pinch I wouldn’t say it’s a joint I’d drive more than 10 minutes for the wife picked up good on her way home and it was decent but I haven’t craved it since… I hope they can revamp the menu because it’s fairly close to me

What a joke, Manager does not want customers. Ive eaten there a ton, much less lately. The Meat is mediocre at best, and ive been going to Moonies instead, but Moonies is closed on Mondays.
Pork tasted bad, had to drown in sauce, but paid for large fry, got half order, when I politely questioned it, the kid at the counter went back, told his manager, came back said they’d make me more… great. So I wait, then he brings me out the equivalent of 1 handful of overcooked fries. I gave them back to them, told them they clearly needed them more than I did and left. The Manager Ran out of the store insisting that I got a full order the first time and he was being nice to me. Ive gotten fries there 100x before, if it was a large order, they just cut their portions in half. None of this was in a polite tone, so I left my polite tone behind and told him he lost my business. He was screaming good as he ran back into the store. Customer Service be damned. $ 10 for a halfpound of pork (that sucked and was short) and a large fry that didnt fill half the tray… was a crappy meal, and im still hungry.
Pretty sure my Pork was Microwaved, you can tell by the taste… ugh.

Seems like this place used to be better when it first opened. On a recent visit, it wasn’t as clean as it could have been and the food was only lukewarm. A very sick employee was working behind the counter too which is kind of gross when working in a food service environment. I won’t be returning.

This is a fast food BBQ place that isn’t in Arizona so it was a new experience for me. I got the chicken sandwich combo with fries and a soda. The chicken was shredded with large chunks and thrown on a toasted bun but didn’t seem to have actual BBQ sauce on it — I added their house/​original BBQ and it wasn’t too sweet or tangy and was very good. Service seemed a little disorganized and I thought it was weird that you ordered right as you walked in — it’s a little overwhelming for first-​timers. Also, little overpriced at $ 10 for fast food. Overall, tasty but not a place I would frequent if I was a local. There are probably better sit-​down places that are around the same price.

Landed here to celebrate granddaughter’s softball team victory. Walked in at 7:40, and it was packed, mostly due to an onscreen Trivia game in progress. Ordered half rack of baby back ribs, fried okra and mac ‘n cheese sides. Wife got ‘Big Daddy’ chopped pork sammich with cole slaw side. Last time we were here, it was a wretched experience (vows to never return) but when ‘KK’ begs big time with her baby blues (pleasssssse, Grampy…), the Grinch ducks his head and mutters «OK». First of all, the baby backs cost $ 17.95 for a half rack (*u*). They were pretty good, and so was the mac. Okra was good except for the 4 fibrous pieces. BBQ sandwich was OK, but slaw was way too vinegary for Grammy. The sweet tea was weak and bland. However, the service was quick and spot-​on. So, this time, we fared well except for the $ 32 dent in my wallet. And we doting grand folks got sweet kisses and ‘thank you’s from our little angel.

Great wings! Got the lemon pepper. Worth the visit.

I have eaten here 4 – 5 times and will not return. Server training is lacking, food comes out whenever they feel like bringing it to you, and the last time my meal was horribly overcooked and dry and the manager suggested I jusst add more BBQ sauce — shocking manager response to bad food.

This place has gone downhill since it first open a couple of years ago. We waited a long time for our food to arrive, and it wasn’t until our cashier was walking around, that she noticed and went to check on it. For time reference, when we came in, it was packed, but most of the other patrons were gone before the cashier/​waitress checked on our food and I noticed a couple of tables got their food before us (when they ordered after us). The girl said they have been having issues with their ticketing system. Fix it, please!
Got the large sampler and the only thing I really liked was the fries (crispy/​crunchy goodness). The chicken was tough, the ribs still had a lot of membrane and was nowhere near fall-​off-​the bone, and the pork decent. Overall on food = thumbs down.
The restaurant itself was very clean. The service staff has improved, judging from the previous visits. Everyone was cleaning tables, putting chairs back to their proper places, refilling condiments on every table, taking out the trash, etc. And the bathroom was clean and smelled good. LOL!
Come on, chain restaurant! What happened to the quality of food???

A chain BBQ restaurant. This alone should be all I need to say. Think of it as a fancier version of Sonny’s. Ate here at this location 3 times. First was poor experience… the pork tasted like it had been cooked, refrigerated, and then reheated (you know that taste…). Gave it a second chance and had fairly decent brisket (but certainly nothing like you’d get in Texas!). Third time was a bizarre experience: the order-​taker at the front rang up my food order and asked for my credit card… and I had to ask «may I also order something to drink.». She replied «oh, did you want something to drink.». You don’t say…
When she brought out my order, which was supposed to have both brisket and pulled pork, it had two piles of just the pork. I explained that it should have had brisket and she tried to tell me that one of the piles of pork was brisket. Ah, no. She was obviously not hired for her culinary experience. I finally got my brisket which was over-​dry. Not going back.

Great ribs from a local chain! It’s easy to see how they started a franchise based on these tender bones. But some of the other items were just okay. The chicken fingers were mediocre but the pulled pork was above average. The fried okra was good, but hell… it’s fried, it’s tough to go wrong with deep frying things.
Order at the counter they give you a number and you sit down to wait. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Came back frequently to make sure everything was ok.
