IF YOU LIKE IT OILY…
This is a cute little bakery and the perfect place to meet up with girlfriends for a treat. Although her menu indicated that she sold certain cookies and brownies, I saw none. She only had cupcakes in the case. I noticed that when she removed the cupcakes, (that were lined in paper), there was an oil ring remaining. When I looked at the cookie tray, I noticed oil rings as well.
Suddenly, I was no longer interested because I don’t like greasy snacks, or cupcakes. I realized that she really didn’t have anything I wanted and that may be due to my coming in during the afternoon instead of the morning.
A cute little shop in the heart of downtown Flowery Branch. Get there early so that you don’t miss out!

Well, all the reviews were so amazing I couldn’t wait to try this spot. Had a friend meet me. She is from Lilburn. I’m from Gainesville. Much to our dismay the store closed ahead of their scheduled time. Nearly an hour before closing and no one was there. Pretty disappointing. If you are going to post hours, you need to honor those hours.

Ordered my first cake from here today… a red velvet cake for my son’s graduation. My cake loving family absolutely LOVED thIs cake. This is by far the best cake I’ve ever had from any place in the Buford area!

Best bakery around. Super nice people, I absolutely love the carrot cake, the best I have ever had. I also have had the coconut cake and it was crazy good. We are very lucky to have this place around us. I am thankful I don’t live too close as I would be there every day. Anytime I need a cake, I am going here.

This little place gets at least five stars! Wish I could give it more.
Have had cupcakes a couple of times and they are wonderful. The staff and baker are extremely nice and so eager to know what you think of the goodies. That alone should tell you they take so much pride in what they produce.
It’s actually out of the way for me to stop in, but it is so worth the time and effort. Great little spot!

Had a chance to pick up some cookies and cakes for the weekend. Let me tell you, these guys are in a different league all together. Some of the best around. I’ve had some great products at French, and German bakeries in Atlanta, and Calliope Sweets is better! Call ahead to place an order or get there early, this place is tops!

Patty has the BEST desserts. I have had a sampling of nearly everything she makes. The coconut cake is my favorite, the cream cheese frosting and fresh coconut… mmm! Also like her cookies, rasian oatmeal is my favorite of those. She has good coffee blends and a nice tea selection as well. Well worth it to have a special cake done by her for events, everyone goes back for seconds! Plus Patty is super friendly and always smiling. You must stop by this place when you are in Flowery Branch!

Calliope Sweets is AMAZING. SO TASTE! Patti makes the absolute best brownies and german chocolate cake, along with those cupcakes! She really goes above and beyond. She made special mini cupcakes for my daughter’s 4th birthday, and they are cute and yummy and a huge hit! The quality and service are absolutely unmatched!
