Sara Donuts is a great donut shop with all the traditional donuts and flavors. Well made donuts, tasty frostings and glazes. The mini apple fritters are quite nice. The cake donuts are very well made.

After searching for a donut shop close to my DRs office I stumbled upon this gem! Sooo delish! There are sooo many options and donut flavors I haven’t seen before. Will definitely be coming back! And the owner is a sweetheart! Happy mom and baby here. :)

Sara’s donuts is the best place for homemade donuts. They have regular donuts as well as specialist donuts like strawberry cream cheese, cookies n’ cream. Everything to make the whole family happy!

So my friend and I are scouting the best Kolache and Donut places in Lewisville/​Flowermound and I have to say from the 10 places we have visited, this place is far ahead of the competition. They have unique doughnut toppings not seen in any other stores and their Kolaches combine the perfect amount of sausage with soft «melt-​in-​your-​mouth» bread.

Great and different selection, not too many places in town with these options. Loved the maple and bacon donut, coffee was good too and then the place is just cool and different, your young daughter won’t want to leave.

Doughnuts have always been a huge part of breakfast dating wwwaaaayyyy back. I’ve had doughnuts all over the East Coast and Central America. This place is by far THE BEST I’ve ever had! Each doughnut is always airy and fresh with the perfect amount of sweetness. These doughnuts are not greasy at all! One of my favorites and most recommended is the strawberry shortcake. The Kolaches are amazing as well! Full of flavor and not too salty! I will never bother going anywhere else from now on.

Love Sara’s. There is always a rotation of whimsical and creative flavors. They are great. A couple of favorites is the red velvet w cream cheese icing and the key lime donut. The apple fritters are the best I ever had. On the weekends ask for the bulgogi or spicy chicken burritos. They are a limited attraction but good protein fix.
The décor… it is like Dali designed the place. The staff, they are very nice and helpful.
Drop the chain store, this place is the best.

Hands down such a great place! Thought it was just a typical donut shop — which from the looks of it it is but don’t judge a book by the cover. The donuts are freaking amazing! So many designs and selections! We bought about 3 dozen for a birthday party and received a million compliments on them. Literally the talk of the party! So glad we tried this place out! We’ll for sure be back! Thank you!

How have I lived in flomo and never been here? The best donuts I’ve ever had. Gourmet chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, salted caramel and one of the most child friendly eating areas I’ve seen.

I’m not really certain what to think about the Décor of this place, other than maybe it feels like walking into a nursery where Toys «R» Us may have thrown up. As an adult it’s not something that I can say is appealing but for a child 7 and under it may be complete opposite. The donuts are creative and taste okay, and the services great.
Although the flavors that are on these donuts are creative, Presentation of the donuts doesn’t seem to be a main focus.

Once was all it took! Awesome donuts and a really unique flavor selection. The three of us split the lemon poppyseed, Biscoff cookie butter, hibiscus strawberry lemon, Greek yogurt, strawberry shortcake, and plain chocolate. I’d try everything again except the Greek yogurt. Also, we had some chicken bulgogi burritos! Get there early.

Sara has the best donuts around, hands down. Of all the donut places in all the various places I’ve traveled I have never encountered donuts as delicious and creative as those made by Sara and her staff. The selection is mind boggling, it’s always tough to choose what to get, the variety is so large and there’s always a new seasonal flavor to try out. On top of that Sara and her staff are all exceptionally nice people. Flower Mound is so lucky to have such a wonderful business.

These were maybe the best donuts I’ve had in Texas. Maybe a tie with Round Rock Donuts.
I just ate four and am freaking out. So good. I live in Plano and we have NOTHING this good. Or Allen. Or Lewisville. I’ll a customer-​25 miles out of my way.

What a hidden treasure! Friendly staff and the atmosphere to fill my kids with amazement. Special donuts include Crème Brulee, Samoa (like the cookie) and every color of frosting for the picky eaters. Definitely a fun trip!

Found this on way to church one morning. Ordered a sausage kolache with bacon on top, chocolate donut and milk. It was around$ 4. Delicious, tasted fresh but it was also early in morning. Bonus… I had a surprise when I opened bag… employee gave me 6 free donut holes! Cute little place, fast service. Probably would return if in area.

I don’t know what I was thinking before. Why did I give Sara Donuts only 4 stars last time? This has to be one of my favorite all time donut shops.
Their donuts are amazing, whether cake or glazed. The sizes are generous (which hasn’t been the case at a couple other shops I’ve been to recently), and they’re always cooked perfectly.
The sausage rolls are amazing. Never over cooked, always piping hot.
Plus? They have TrooMoo! Since I wrote my last review, I have discovered the greatness that is TrooMoo. Yes, it’s whole milk. Whole milk, chocolate, and crack. Get it. You’re welcome. :)
