Blue Jay Carpet Cleaning

Everybody’s already said it, but Jay’s the best!
Personable, prompt, pusillanimous (just kidding about that last one).

It’s not really how I wanted to get started here on Unilocal.Nor is this the review I came here to write. I came here to look for a house cleaner and somehow Blue Jay ended up in the search results.
Some time back (18 – 24 months) we had occasion to use this carpet cleaning service. The man who came (the owner, since this is a one-​man business) was pleasant enough and seemed efficient.
Unfortunately, something must have gone wrong with the service he provided, since one of our back rooms that get the most living and traffic, somehow didn’t get cleaned right.
For some reason, the day after he was here, and when the carpet had dried, my wife ran the vacuum cleaner over the carpet in that room and vacuumed up a significant quantity of loose dirt — stuff we thought should not be left over after a carpet cleaning job. In fact, my wife ran the vacuum over a second time and got a little more stuff out of the carpets.
We’ve since switched to a different service and this experience has not repeated itself. I suspect that something went wrong in his equipment, since all the other carpets were cleaned satisfactory, with the exception of that one room that was furthest from where he had his van and quite likely at the extreme edge of what he may be able to reach.

We have been using Blue Jay Carpet Cleaning for several years now — and we couldn’t be happier with the service we receive. This is the second time I have used Jay, and each time the results have been amazing. I had previously been told by another carpet cleaning company that the pet stains in my bedroom would be impossible to get out, after they charged me $ 150 plus another $ 10 to come back out. Yet Jay was able to get them all out and they stayed out! I will definitely be keeping my business with Jay!

This is my second time to use Blue Jay Carpet Cleaning. He is always on time, his prices are fair, and he does a great job. I just got a puppy who has had several accidents and Jay got up all the stains. I would recommend him to anyone who needs friendly, reliable and honest service.

Used Jay a few months ago, but just getting around to writing a review. We just moved in and had a kid on the way. Jay came out quickly and was able to clean our entire large house in about 4 hours. He offered a full estimate with no surprises, and was able to get all the traffic areas looking new. He made sure I knew if there were any issues just to call and he would make it right, but that wasn’t necessary. When it is time to clean the carpets again, Jay will be the only one I call.
