The best way to describe my appt. with Dr. Mallory is pleasant. Two very important things he gave me, first knowledge of my condition and how to treat it and second and maybe more important, peace of mind. He is very nice and it is apparent all he cares about is getting you better. I was told to go to Dr. Mallory by a friend who was his patient and I was left wanting to tell more friends and family about him. The office staff is also nice and I didn’t have to wait long for appointment. If you have any foot or ankle issues don’t hesitate to make an appointment because you won’t regret it.

I visited and met with the doctor after reading positive reviews on Unilocal.Service was good and the doctor took time with me. However, I referred Academy to my husband for a knee problem we thought could be helped with orthotics. However, to my husband’s frustration, the doctor dismissed his issues, then kept him waiting in the exam room for over a half hour while they«checked» on his insurance. and my hubby finally had to leave to make another appointment without them ever returning to the exam room. They barely acknowledged him when he left and to top it off sent us a bill for almost $ 200. No service, no interest in helping. I would not recommend Academy.

Dr. Yeargain was polite and respectful. However, a two hour and fifteen minute wait to see him was quite disrespectful. He is good at explaining in layman’s terms however the technician appeared inexperienced and unsure of herself. I don’t think the long term care of the patient(at least in my case) was a concern as much as making as most money possible from my visit. Dr Yeargain says that he isn’t always a fan of orthotics, yet all 3 other patients that checked out in the two hours I was sitting in the waiting room all were sold«extras» like insoles and custom braces about triple the going rate at any online store. All in all this visit was my fault as after that much time in the waiting room I should have just left the office.

Dr. joseph Yeargain is the primary podiatrist at this location. Can we say bedside manner? The best in the business. I went to see him regarding some foot issues I have been having. He himself took xrays of my feet which was just astounding to me. The xrays were developed instantly and he discussed the issues I had complained about in great detail. He addressed all my issues and took the time to go over all my questions and had answers for all of them. He did a show and tell with the skeletal foot prop so that I can actually see what and where my issues were coming from. He actually didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed out of the office because someone else was waiting their turn. I wish he was a DR of everything because he would definitely be my Dr of choice. Did I mention that he is not hard on the eyes either! Good looks, brains, outstanding customer service, caring of his patients, what more can you ask for? Also, lets not forget Heather. She greets you instantly with a smile and makes you feel right at home. These two are a terrific duo. The offices are clean and very neatly kept. The location is perfect. When you are done having your feet checked, you can go next door and have a taco at Fuzzy’s tacos! But Fuzzy’s is just one of the numerous restaurants in that area. Plus great shopping right across the street! What more is there? This is probably the best experience I have ever had with any physician. So if you need a podiatrist for ANYTHING, no matter what area of the metroplex you live in, check out this office. You will not be disappointed.
