If I could give this place zero stars I would. The 1st Art Club is a total scam and you will absolutely lose your money and get no painting if you place an order through them. I «purchased»(gave $ 200 away to some random person somewhere) a replica painting in September through PayPal. I never received the painting. I made numerous call, left countless messages and emailed every email account I could find with no response. This company will automatically say that your painting is not in stock and it is going to take 14 days for it to be mailed out. They do this intentionally so that they can draw out the time so that when you go to file a claim through PayPal, you have exceeded the amount of time to file a claim and get your money back. I also filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. The BBB gives companies 22 days to respond to consumer complaints. The BBB was never able to get a hold of the 1st Art Club, so they had to close the complaint. They did, however, reflect poorly of the company on their BBB report. I have read at least 2 other reports about this company where the customer experienced the exact same senario… everyone ends up getting ripped off. I am going to continue to follow up with this company. I will be contacting the town of Flower Mound, TX to file a complaint through them as well as the Flower Mound, TX police department. I will also be contacting Paypal to make sure they remove this company from utilizing their services. In the mean time, DONOTPURCHASEFROM1STARTCLUB!!!

I ordered an oil painting from the 1st Art Club’s website. It was not in stock, so per their info on their website I anticipated getting notification of shipping within 14 business days. When I heard nothing on the 14th business day I attempted to contact the company by phone(left voice mail) and by email. I did not receive a reply to either. So, I left a second phone message indicating that unless I heard back I would need to pursue a refund through my credit card company. I waited two days and called them again but was not able to reach them and got no reply to my messages. Perhaps something was going on at the business or with the owner that made them unable to respond? I was able to get my money back through the credit card company so there was no risk to me, but what I really wanted was the painting! If you wish to place an order with this company I recommend reaching them by phone first to make sure they’ll be able to fulfill your order.
