I never gave this park a chance until this past Sunday. It was ok for the dog but totally awesome for the baby! Playgrounds are well kept. Bathrooms close. And the lovely recycled rubber is at every playground bed. This is a revelation!!! He fell and got right back up without exploring any wood chip. Whew! I still have slight safety concerns bc pf the way the park is set up. With the open area and the way the playgrounds/shelters are distributed, you don’t notice anything until its already there. Lovely tho.

I have to write a review, as none have been written … and, frankly, that disappoints me. Unfortunately, my experience is somewhat limited. This was my first visit to the park. I attended as part of an overnight camp with about 150 fathers and sons. This group had traditionally frequented this location, then tried a different park last year considered much proximate. However, this park won us back, apparently. My experience was limited to the drive in and through, to what was probably the back of the park. We were within a few hundred yards of the Missouri River. Yes, there mosquitos, but nothing that our Off couldn’t handle. Our location was clean and well maintained, as were the sections along the roadway leading to our spot. The restroom facilities were in good order, and also clean. This location is about an hour from home, so I probably won’t be back to just kick around, but if I lived within 30 minutes of here, I could see it as a good place to have frisbee ultimate, go for a long run, have a picnic, or explore the river [I say that, but have no idea of the accessibility issues associated with the river].
