Kurtz Nursery & Top Soil

These guys are a JOKE! I purchased 6cy of brown-​dyed mulch for a 10am, 7÷3÷15, delivery to be dumped on the driveway of my home in Creve Coeur. FYI, 6 cubic yards is a HUGE pile of brown wood chips, which covers the full width of a residential driveway.
I took 3 days off work to spread the mulch over the fourth of July weekend. I waited for my 10am delivery with a rented wheelbarrow and little time to spare. Long story short, they didn’t arrive when promised and after 1 hour of waiting and repeated calls, they offered no apologies and no estimate of when or even if they would make their delivery. After 2.5 hours of waiting and calling, I had to leave to take care of other business and my wife kindly agreed to wait on the delivery. 3 HOURS AFTER their scheduled delivery time they finally arrived and my wife paid them with cash.
When I arrived to begin spreading their delivery, I discovered that what they delivered was wet, nasty, black, stinking, chicken manure, leaf mold blend of compost. I basically had an effing mountain of black bird manure on my driveway. I called and the lady that answers the phone refused to connect with the owner or general manager but promise to have someone call me. She even had the guts to call me annoying. I am writing this review 5 days later and still have not heard from them.
STAY AWAY from these guys. Oh, if anyone need a mountain of bird manure, give me a call.
