Dr. Chiu and her staff basically saved my quality of life.
My childhood dentist was boarder line abusive. I was held down by their staff and given novocaine with out a numbing agents and they prohibited my mother from being with me. So to say I have trust issues with dentists is a gross understatement.
A decade without dental treatment is not a good thing. And despite my shaking and tears, Dr. Chiu and her staff never made me feel stupid or dramatic. They took the time to tell me everything they had to do, even being honest when it was something uncomfortable.
She perfected my smile in time for my wedding which I am extremely happy about. I no longer hide my smile behind my mouth and know Dr. Chiu will work to get what is best for me and my wallet. My husband now sees her as well. Dentist visits are never fun but even at the worst (root canal) I was comfortable thanks to the staff and able to manage my anxiety. My only recommendation would be for them to add tvs with headphones. That’s the selfish Bravo tv addict in me.
