This business is being run into the ground. The owner uses inferior Isupplies, treats her employees very poorly, chastises customers in the lobby in fromt of other customers, and is constantly changing policies on her VIP contracts. If you are considering a VIP contract, don’t bother. You will only get frustrated. Her employees are very nice and do a good job on services with what they have been given to work with. Unless you have a regular stylist who takes care of you there, AVOID this place. She won’t even make change so you can tip your stylist! No wonder she can’t keep great employess! I would prefer to give them zero stars.

I didn’t like this place at all. The décor seemed really cheap and the manicures were horrible. It took forever for us to pay too, they need to get their stuff together. I also heard that they are going out of business. I can see why.

I’ve been going to this hair salon for about 6 months and have not been disappointed. They have lots of different services available however I’ve only had my hair cut, colored, and brows waxed. They also have free wifi which is great to take advantage of while getting your hair done.

It had been a while since I had gotten a haircut. I read some good things about Waves so I decided to try them. My old place was getting more expensive and hard to get in with, so I was really hoping Waves would be my new salon. I keep my hair long with face framing shorter pieces in the front. I arrived early for my appointment. The place was nearly empty. I was seated right away with my stylist. I brought a couple of pictures with me. I was very clear that I did not want bangs. They have never looked good on me. I wanted to go a little shorter with my face framing but I wanted longer whispy pieces too. I showed the stylist my pictures Ishould have left then because she only glanced at them. She took me way back to the back to wash my hair. I didn’t care for the product smell but I can’t blame her for that. Then we took the long walk back ti the front again. She started clipping away and chatting about how bad Great Clips is and how good the salon is. She was talking herself up quite a bit but was very uninterested in anything I said. She finished and started drying my hair. Part way through the drying process she made an enormous tangle. She couldn’t get it out so she finally had to cut it out. I was upset but hey, I figured it shouldn’t be too obvious so I would overlook that if the cut was good. When she finished drying my hair and I finally had a good look at it, I was very upset to find that she had given me bangs. She cut in short straight across bangs and then pushed then to one side, no face framing layers in site. I went to pay and was shocked to find I was being charged quite a bit more than I expected. I considered giving the place three stars, but for the $ 30 I was charged, I expect a lot more, both in skill and attitude I would have been better off at Great Clips. Décor wise the place is a big open space with chairs for the stylists along the wall. They have a ton of wasted space in the middle. Nails are done in the back as is the shampooing. It is rather boring and uninviting. On the plus side they have long hours and are easy to get in with. For the prices they charge though you can find a much nicer salon and spa.
