My son has his glasses filled at Metzger’s and they girls working are always very nice to him and let us take our time picking his new frames. Last time we went to Metzger’s though someone told me I would have his glasses in two weeks and when I called to check if they have them they told me it would be at least 2 more weeks. I understand waiting but no one told me about having to get permission from the insurance to get his frames. It’s okay though I was still happy with how nice everyone was to us.

My experience must have been unusually bad, but I thought I should add it so that the reviews are more balanced. I cannot speak to the entirety of the staff of the location, as I didn’t get past the waiting area. The person working behind the desk was pretty rude. I filled out the forms as it was my first time. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the lady behind the desk calls me by the wrong name and tells me(in an accusatory tone) my insurance is no good there. I explain that I had called previously and was told my insurance was fine — the location was on a list of providers from my insurance as well. No dice. She told me I must be wrong. So I left.

I have worn glasses for over 40 years, and am EXTREMELY difficult to fit. I have never had such a thorough exam, been treated with such respect, or had every single member of a staff be so friendly. Can’t say enough about how positive the entire experience was! Just picked up my glasses today, and because the staff took such care in helping me choose the proper style for my lenses(Dr. Julie even gave her opinion!), I couldn’t be happier with them! Dr. Julie Metzger is a keeper! FYI I visited the Covington office.

Love Dr. Julie and have heard good things about the other doctors here too. A very helpful staff that really works to help out patients.
