What a beautiful and varied place. If you’re biking in the Florence area, you can’t miss Look Park: the bike path directs you through its front area. This must be heaven for local parents, complete with walking trails, camping areas, picnic areas, playgrounds, ball fields, mini golf, a petting zoo, a children’s train, water park, a duck pond with paddle boats, and even several stages for concerts or events. All next to the Mill River in case you’d like to cool your feet.
I stop by occasionally to soak up the environment. Summer Saturdays are the best time to stroll through and see lots of happy families.
