Once upon a time — 20 years ago… This was the place to get pizza. This is what a large pizzas looks like now. Service is lacking, quality has declined. Sorry, LaRosa’s, I’ll be looking for a new pizza place. Like they say, good things don’t last

My husband and I go to this Larosa’s location once a week. We love their food. It is consistently delicious, service is mostly great with the exception of a couple sub-​par servers but I like to think everyone has a bad night once in a while. We will still continue to come here.

These guys make a pretty good pie. Very informative phone tree system and staff. The phone call was a long wait but the delivery wasn’t. I had the Greek pizza and it was quite good. The mozzarella sticks left a little to be desired but overall, I’d order it at a hotel again.

I stopped by to get a pizza to go and had a beer while I was waiting. The beer was cold (Stella Artois) and the 8″ double pepperoni came out pronto. I took it back to the hotel and devoured it. The crust was good and the sauce was excellent as was the pepperoni. I could tell the ingredients were fresh and top-​of-​line. I enjoyed it very much. If I’m back in the area I will return.

I recently made an online order and when putting the toppings on the pizza I didn’t click on them twice. I didn’t realize this until after my e-​mail confirmation was received. I called and the lady was very nice and called the store for me. She said they were contacting the driver. She corrected my order with the correct toppings. The store then called me and said he couldn’t get a hold of the driver so keep the cheese pizza and the corrected one would be on it’s way shorty. I was so very pleased. I thought this was outstanding customer service considering it was my fault for not double checking my order. I love Larosa’s and would go there anyway but this was above and beyond. Mt. ZIon location in Florence.

Went to LaRosa’s with some friends for the first time while traveling through the Cincinnati /​Northern KY region. They love the place and stop for pizza there whenever they drive through. The pizza was ok. Nothing special or fantastic about the taste but it was a good deal for a lunch. I ordered the lunch pick two and they were nice enough to substitiute a cup of french onion soup as one of my choices. I would go back. Nice wait staff.

I haven’t had a LaRosas in a couple of years and there is one right down the street from me. Here’s the deal. IF you are from the Cincinnati area, you will probably like this pizza. A very generic pizza, cheap and fast. I believe those are the primary goals of pizza consumers from this part of the country. I will say that the atmosphere is pretty good in the Florence location. Feels like a modern chain establishment (think Fridays, Applebees) and had a good beer selection, last time I was there.
PS: Don’t eat the sausage. I think it is cat food!

Hometown favorite!
Excellent pizza overall: from the homemade crust, sauce, provolone cheese to the toppings.
I highly recommend what I call the the «Kings Island» pizza which is a traditional thin crust with cheese and pepperoni (on top of the cheese).
I also recommend the JoJo’s BLT salad it has crisp bacon, diced tomatoes, greens and croutons with LaRosa’s Creamy Garlic dressing.
Two secrets…
1 ~ You can purchase the medium or large traditional or hand tossed crusts and sauce at the restaurants! Works great for having pizzas to make at home versus frozen.
2 ~ The Philly CheeseSteak Hoagy is not on the menu but you can order it! Comes with seasoned sirloin steak strips, melted sharp white cheddar, fresh red onions and banana peppers = delicious!

Found the thin pizza crust mediocre… seemed like it was pre-​baked, cardboard is not much worse. Didn’t find the pizza sauce anything special… sausage on my pizza was not plentiful. Their choice of soft drinks was excellent… even had diet root beer!
They are not as good as their reputation. i had lunch elsewhere with local friens today (I’m from Calif) and they, too, said LaRosa’s is so poor they hope one that’s in the planning doesn’t open in their neighborhood.

A Cincinnati Institution. Prices are very reasonable. Pizza is good. Not my first choice however. Sauce has a «sweetness» to it. Generous cheese on the pizza and it is consistent from one location to another. Side salad is pretty plain Jane. Can’t really complain and will go there from time to time. Great place to feed a family out.

Went for an early dinner this past weekend. LaRosa’s, for me anyway, has always been good and consistent. Food is always fresh and tasty. Pizza, lasagna and spaghetti are great. I even love their side salads with the large olives. Best part was… we had a Buddy card, and a gift card. We got two large pizzas, a salad, a beer and a couple of drinks and the total (after the gift card of course) was only $ 8.
We love the new flavored drinks they have now where they can virtually take any Coke/​Sprite/​Powerade/​MinuteMaid (and many more) drink and add many different flavors to them!

This review is specifically for the Florence, KY location.
I’ve had about 5 delivery orders in a row from here where the pizza (s) were delivered raw. Who wants to eat raw, liquidy pizza dough? It’s awful… and I’ve had to call and complain multiple times. Each time they have given me a full or partial credit, and finally told me to select «well done» when I ordered the pizza. I did that, and it still came raw. It sucks to spend $ 15 on a pizza and then have to put it in the oven because it’s raw. Last time I checked if I wanted a pizza I had to cook myself I went to Papa Murphy’s. The last time I complained I got a full credit and they explained that the more toppings you put on pan crust the harder it is to cook to dough throughout. Well, that’s just tough. They should figure it out. We had 3 toppings on the pizza, not 20. Finally had enough, not ordering from here ever again.
