This a wonderful store. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. You can always get personal assistance and I have yet to ask a project question that they couldn’t help with. They are very good at helping you find what you need quickly and get back to your project.
On the very rare occasion I needed something more specialized than what they carry they directed me to a nearby store that did have it.

Locally owned, family-​run. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. 99% of the time, they have what I’m looking for– even if the big guys didn’t. For the other 1% of the time, they can find and order whatever I need. Every time I find myself at another hardware store, I’m disappointed I didn’t go here first.

This is what Hardware stores used to be. The staff is knowledgeable, and, if not always chipper, the are always helpful. They seem to have everything, with in reason, for most home projects; cleaners, screws, nuts, bolts, bird houses and rat traps. It’s not a contractor’s store, it’s a hardware store. Their here for those of us who aren’t building a barn, but might need to fix a lamp.
