I keep looking for ways to promote this place. If you love seafood and like to cook, this is the place. If you are afraid to cook fish, don’t be! Do a little research online and you will be cooking perfect fish in no time. They also have classes– go! Do your taste buds and body a favor and eat healthy! I have had almost everything they regularly sell: tuna, salmon, trout, Arctic char, cod, halibut, grouper, oysters, shrimp, scallops, swordfish… plus the in-​house prepared items are also delicious. Gumbo, shrimp cakes, clam chowder, sauces — just go, seriously. We need this business to thrive! Thanks, John, for bringing fresh fish to Northern Kentucky, and keep it coming!

If you want a really good piece of fish I highly recommend Afishionados. John who runs the place is very helpful and friendly and if you have a hard time deciding, he is knowledgeable about all his product. Yes, the prices are a little higher than say Kroger but once I started buying from here, I buy fish know where else. The difference can be easily tasted. Also, the Lobster Mac and Cheese is a basic requirement when my daughter is with me and I can’t argue with her.

Best fresh seafood around!
Fresh seafood is hard to find this far from the coast, but afishionados has changed that. They provide the freshest around. I hit this place about once a week. If you are a seafood lover, you have to go! If you think you don’t like seafood — you will after you try this. I’m going there tonight for our seafood feast.
If you don’t know how to prepare it, they will do it for you!

Great seafood shop with very obliging staff. Excellent quality. Highly recommended. Sent lobsters as a Christmas to my aunt and uncle in nearby Union, KY and john and his staff made it happen without any worries! Thanks for the TLC!

I was not much of a seafood lover before Afishionados moved into the Friendly Market, but once I tried their wild-​caught fish, I was hooked. Service is as excellent as their products. This is a must try!

I was so glad to see a fish place open at Friendly and then I found out Tom Keegan helped his friend open this place and I was sold. Fish is the best quality. Will get you whatever you need, if they can. Plus. Lobster Mac and Cheese. If you haven’t had it you are missing out. Get there soon.
