La Fuente

La Fuente is a great affordable Mexican restaurant. Almost everything I have tried from the menu has been outstanding. The Pollo Cancun and Mireya’s Cancun are excellent. The Mexican cheeseburger wasn’t good. The mango margarita is too sweet. They have awesome drink specials during the week. Their lime margarita, on the rocks and frozen, are tasty and not watered down.
The restaurant moved locations from one side of town to the other and somehow lost some good wait service. The past several times I have visited one of their waiters seemed to forget she had customers. While she sprawled out on one of the booths I had to get up a few times to retrieve silverware, napkins and water from the bar while she stared at me. It seemed like she was on something. Another visit she forgot a birthday at our table after we discussed it 3 times during our meal. She came up to us, very rudely, and asked what our problem was and why we we had not payed and left yet.
If La Fuente re-​worked some of their staff and brought back patio seating the restaurant would be a lot better. Revamping the staff may also help getting rid of some of the sketchy cruddy people that hang around there.
