Good bar for a beer with friends. Always clean and the bartenders are good at their job, but the food is just average. Good prices and lots of tv’s. They have karaōke, which is not my thing, but it’s right up some somebody’s alley. It kind of drives me off when a bar hosts it, but it’s not the worst thing in the world. I stayed for it once. Not as bad as I would have thought it would be.

Super friendly staff, reasonable drink prices, tasty food, but it very generic bar food. My eggplant parmesan came with meat sauce, which was strange, but I’m not a vegetarian, so I was okay with that. I came in on a Thursday night, which turned out to be karaōke and dance night, which was beyond entertaining.

This place has been open for about 6 months and you can see the effort that has been put into making a go if it in a challenging area. There were 3 other people sitting at the bar when I arrived, seemed even emptier due to the spartan interior. I expected at least a small crowd given the location near UM-Flint and the freeway. I will say the mushroom cheeseburger was fantastic, served on a pretzel bun and cooked just right. Service was very good. Decent beer selection, though none on draft(big minus), lots of high end liquors, limited wine(Crane Lake dominates the wine display). Hope they can make this place work, the food is good and they seem focused on service. If business does pick up both will be needed to stay in business. 3 stars are for food/staff. Add some atmosphere and good draft beers and its 4.

The food here is way above average for a bar. There sub sandwiches are crazy good. The Mushroom and Swiss burger you can only find other than here is at Micchael Simon Reasturaunt in California. Was taken by suprise by Kareoke Night on a Teusday! A must see if in Downtown Flint!
