They don’t actually have pizza, which is annoying. The ice cream is good, and the serving sizes are excessive. The junior sized cone is as much as any normal person could possibly need. It’s a dive, no doubt, but good for what it is: a neighborhood ice cream stand.

Best ice cream in flint! Never tried the pizza but this place is a home staple for me everytime I go back home and visit the parents in the summer months. Huge servings I always get a junior because its like 2 large scoops of ice cream. Their waffle cones are fresh and the perfect compliment to the myriad of flavors ranging from sugar free choices, ENORMOUS banana splits(where you’re able to choose any type of ice cream just not the traditional vanilla strawberry and chocolate) and shakes and smoothies. A must go if you’re in the area!

I’m guessing by my fiancée real big urging of going to this place today and her family reaction that Ron’s is a real big a deal in the Flint area. Went here to what is a small walk up window and was amazed by their selections. They have about 20 – 25 flavors, most of which are very very different(not your typical Baskin Robbins flavors). I had a taste of Apple pie ice cream which was excellent and a taste of the lemon cheesecake which was good(there taste size is enough for two to get a taste off of one spoon), I settled the raspberry chip cheesecake, which good, just wanted something better. Their banana splits here are huge(enough for 2 – 4 which is a large) and there scoops are really big here(even a baby size is slightly less than a scoop, but big still) and the prices are good. Will definitely be back to try more stuff.
