Love the pizza and antipasto salad. It is always consistent and has always been great. Nothing fancy, just damn good food. Service has been friendly each time we’ve been there and my four year old love the personal pizza. I’ve never had anything but the pizza so I can’t review the baked pasta dishes, but they looked good coming out of the kitchen. Lot of people calling in and doing carry out too. It was busy for a Tuesday in February

Back in the late 60’s, early 70’s my Dad would bring home a pizza every Friday after work. It was always the same, Pepperoni and sausage. Sadly, I moved away in the early 80’s. After returning to the Flint area after 30+ years, I rediscovered Mario’s pizza. I ordered a pepperoni/sausage pizza and after the first bite, I was a kid again, eating our Friday night pizza at the dinner table with Mom and Dad. Thank you Mario’s for not trying to be «Edgy» and«Progressive» and changing.

Confidential MD recommends Marios. Best marinara sauce I have ever tasted! The meat sauce is delicious too! Frank and Sergio do a wonderful job at this restaurant. You feel welcome and the staff Craig, Joyce, and all of the others do a fantastic job. My wife and i love sitting at the bar and having wine and just enjoying the warm atmosphere. Cheesy pizza with a side of even cheesier decorations. Delicious breadsticks – especially the ones with melted mozzarella. Warm service, nice ratio of syrup to fizz in the Diet Coke… and last but not least, FANTASTICALLY generous portions. If you’re ordering a calzone and not splitting it, order an «extra small.» Believe me. I’m not saying this because I’m a girl — I eat like a lumberjack. Anything bigger and you will be in urgent medical trouble. That or, you know, you’ll have to take some home in a box.

Pretty kick ass food. Great home style Italian. Now get this, I was overcharged by 10 bucks, they called my Aunt and brought it to her. Good, good food and very family friendly.
