Garlic sauce & pita bread!!! This is a fabulous Middle Eastern market that my mom and I frequent regularly. We always gets the garlic sauce, pita bread and vegetables. The prices are phenomenal and the garlic sauce they make here is the best we’ve found in the Flint-area. It’s so good the garlic will be oozing from your pores and you will be craving more the minute you take the last bite. Support this ma-pa shop… it’s wonderful!!!

I’d be careful of those olives. Middle eastern people like to try before buying and that means their fingers go right into the olive brine, to their mouths and back in again. Seen it many times! I like the store but don’t always like Mr. Kamil’s business practices. Selling items past their sell by date, selecting the sweets that he keeps in the case for his customers himself(and then when you get them home, find that he gave you broken ones). He also changed a price once at the register when he realized an item was mismarked. This would never fly in an American owned market… the customer gets it for the price it’s marked. He wants to do business as if he’s still in Lebanon(and yes, I’ve been there so I know of what I speak).

I shop here a lot and I just love being able to get my hands on some great Mid-Eastern food and ingredients. My most frequent purchases include blocks of their feta cheese, olives from their olive bar, and bulk grains and spices. The prices on these things are MUCH better than what you get at a regular grocery store.
