Experienced a delightful Rueben crêpe. A definite place I will return to when I come to town. Seating inside is limited but the food was very good quality.

Came here for the first time and we were not disappointed. The prices are a little high for crepes with meat and such at first glance. Once you consider the high end ingredients they use it is very fair. The food was great. Cooked perfectly and looked very appealing. I tried the monte cristo and my spouse tried farmers. Both were good and def worth the price. We will be back again. The staff is great too. Helpful, friendly and since this is a locally owned business so you can’t go wrong stopping in here.

Wife and I went for the first time today, and we were pleased! Crepes were very tasty and the selection is enough to satisfy most palettes. I had the Monte Christo and my wife had The Matcha, a bit on the pricey side but we certainly will be back. The coffee was hot and fresh, on the strong side but we enjoyed it. Like the atmosphere and I think places like this is what Flint needs. Great job!

Just left after sitting at the counter for almost 5 minutes. Made eye contact with every employee I saw, never even got a menu. That was after spending 15 minutes trying to even find the place because it’s temporarily inside a different bar around the corner. Bad food is a matter of opinion, bad service is inexcusable.

Can’t get enough of this place. Everything is so amazing! Their specialty drinks, Omg the iced Chai tea is my favorite! You can get crepes with meats and stiff, or desserts like the Knickerbocker. That’s my go to. The workers are great, the seating and decoration of this place is awesome. They cook everything right in front of you, and you can add ice cream!

This is one of the places that has turned downtown Flint into a place that a person would actually want to go. They serve local, seasonal foods and great coffee. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Ooooh tres bon! I’ve been here a few times and it did not disappoint. I got The Farmer’s Style Egg and Cheese: Egg & cheese crêpe filled with breakfast sausage and seasonal sautéed vegetables and The Reuben: Detroit corned beef with sauerkraut, topped with baby swiss cheese, soy sauce and homemade thousand island dressing, c’est magnifique! The staff is always friendly and the wait wan’t too terrible. Definitely a place I need to visit more often.

The Flint Crêpe Company is exactly the type of business that downtown Flint needs. A place with a cool atmosphere that focuses on using only quality and local ingredients. They have an extensive coffee, espresso, and tea menu, and it’s the only place in the whole county to get a good cup of coffee or espresso. And the crepes. The crepes! They have a great selection of both savory and sweet crepes, with specialty flavors popping up depending on the season. My two favorites are the Pinto and the Reuben. I’m only in town a couple times a year, and you can bet that a visit to the crêpe company is always first on my list.

Monte Cristo Mon is what I call it. It’s my regular thing to do. I adore this place. I’ve been here many many times since they opened. I work downtown so I stop in often. I’ve had a number of their«sweet» and a number of their«savory» crepes. Favorite is the Monte Cristo but the Michigan Smoke is also good. All of their ingredients are locally sourced and crepes are made right there in front of you. The seating is limited though. The food has never disappointed me. And a lot of people love the coffee and cappuccino from there although I have never had one. There are some mainstays on the menu but there are also some that are seasonal since they sourced locally from the farmers market. Def on a list of «must visit» in Downtown Flint.

Food is made to order, by hand, with extreme care and passion. Rhe café drinks offered are equally amazing and will blow your everyday Starbucks beverages out of the water. I really enjoyed the Italian Crêpe, The Pinto and I must say, DON’T LEAVEHEREWITHOUTTRYINGTHEKNICKERBOCKER!

Can’t say enough great things about this crêpe restaurant! A true gem of a find while I waited for my husband to finish the Crimm 10 miler and I waited to start the 5K… the ingredients were fresh, prepared to perfection, and the bearded hipster crêpe makers in vests and retro newsboy caps completed the experience!

I was in town for the Crim Festival of Races. While the wife visited with her runner family I stopped and got a crêpe. Years ago in French class my teacher made crepes. Over the years I’ve visited crêpe restaurants with normally sad results. Flint Crêpe Company takes me back to french class and and makes me dust off my highschool and college french to say«Ooh La LA!» «Tres Tres Bön». Almost makes me want to come back to Flint just to get more.

I met a friend of mine for lunch here on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy inside the restaurant and there was no one else in line in front of us. When we approached the desk to order we were told it would be a minute… not sure why. Finally after about 5 minutes of standing there, we were asked what we would like to order. I’m not really sure why they weren’t able to take our order in the first place. I ordered the Monte Cristo, and my friend ordered the Caprese but they were out of basil, which stinks. They told her they could make it with mixed greens. It took FOREVER to get our food! There was only one other person in the restaurant and he was eating, so I’m not sure why it took so long! Probably about 20 minutes or so. When our crepes were finally ready they didn’t have any forks so then we had to sit and wait for forks so we could eat our food. I also found it weird that there was so fountain beverages, just an random selections of teas and juices. My crêpe was just ok, I didn’t like that it was an egg crêpe, it tasted weird… I think a sweeter crêpe would taste better. My friend said hers was just okay as well, nothing amazing. I really wanted to like this place, but I was super disappointed.

Five stars for this place, and thank you Unilocal for leading me to it! I stopped here while passing through Flint from Toronto and this little crêpe place is quite charming. The prices are good and the staff are super nice. I ordered the lemon drop crêpe, which was filled with delicious cream cheese, and topped with almonds, which added a nice crunch. Usually it comes with pecans, but they had run out of pecans and asked if I wanted almonds or graham crackers on top, and after a heated debate with myself, I decided on almonds. The crêpe did not disappoint! I gobbled it up in about five minutes. I will definitely return if I’m in the area!

20 minute wait to order food with only one person in front of us in line. The place was disgusting. Spills and food all over the place. No organization or consistent processes in place. Unwelcoming staff that didn’t say hello nor goodbye. «Self-serve» everything. Overheard employees saying numerous times«sorry, we can’t do that here» or «sorry we don’t have that» or «sorry I couldn’t make that right.» The lighting in this place is perfect, however. Will not be returning or recommending. This place needs to clean up its act.

A gem of a place located in an unfamiliar territory. The workers here are enthusiastic and provide excellent recommendations. That being said, the Farmer’s crêpe is the way to go. Savory with a bit of a kick, this crêpe has made me a huge fan of this place. Sizable portions. The autumn spiced latte didn’t really float my boat, but a lot of people on Unilocal seem to fancy it. Definitely worth stopping by for a bite to eat. Hipster vibe, nice place to relax, locally sourced ingredients… this place is a winner. P. s. It’s only 10 minutes from the Flint airport, so no excuses!

There’s a decent chance that this won’t be the best crêpe you’ve ever had. I know, I’m really selling this place, huh? :) But I’ll stand by my 5 stars, and here’s why: 1. I’ve never had a bad crêpe here. I’ve had some that were just good, and others that I wanted swallow up whole, order 5 more, take them home and have crêpe time for days. My two all-time favorites: Seoul Food(the kimchi gives it the most awesome kick and flavor), and the Moka a la Mode for dessert. Dear God, the nutella + the hint of coffee aftertaste and fresh ice cream… my taste buds are still indebted to my brain for that life choice. 2. All(and I mean all) of their ingredients, beverages, and products for sale are sourced locally. The jam for sale near the register was bottled in Manistee, the tall glasses of chocolate milk were brought up from Calder’s in Lincoln Park, and a lot of the cheese, meats and produce are from right here in Flint. It’s Pure Michigan all over the place. This also means that their menus are seasonal, so if you don’t see your favorite on the menu, it may be because they ran out of fresh ingredients for it. Just an excuse to always try something new! 3. That mug of mocha that you just ordered? Yeah, they make that chocolate syrup in-house, as well as the vanilla and the caramel. My favorite drinks to date: it’s a tie between the salted caramel latte and the autumn spice latte(all you PSL fans, forget Starbucks, this ASL is where it’s attttt).
