Ballenger Park

I went to Ballenger Park with my boyfriend to attend his family reunion last year. I was also almost nine months pregnant! I had a great time. It was right in the heart of the area I grew up in Flint, and there were lots of things to do.
There was a covered picnic area by the basketball courts. There are also tennis courts and buildings where you can put on a show if you want. You have to bring along your own game of horseshoes! A game of horseshoes? A game of horseshoes! That’s right. There are lots of great areas for kids to play and families to unite.
I mostly stayed in out of the heat because of my «condition», but I was happy because that’s where the food was, including this yummy lemon cake that I ate two slices of. They also have public restrooms, not Port-​a-​Potties that are well maintained, for a park.
