Everything I have had from here is delicious! My favorite by far is the vanilla cupcake with coconut icing. They are reasonably priced and I love that they offer mini cupcakes as well as full sized! The staff is always nice.

Ordered a special birthday cake requested by my son and it was absolutely the best!
Have ordered cupcakes for his school class and were the biggest hit with the kids and teachers.
The owner is super nice and as sweet as her wares!
I have been here before and never been diappointed.
The cakes always have personal up scale custom quality that you don’t receive anywhere else.

This place is pretty amazing. The owner is really sweet and she bakes a great cupcake. The is a lot of thought and care that goes into her cupcakes. For example the s’mores cupcake is topped with a mini graham cracker, marshmallow, and a piece of Hersey chocolate. I haven’t tried anything that wasn’t good here.

It was our anniversary and my husband wanted to recreate a miniature version of our wedding cake. After visiting several bakeries and getting rejected, the Mixing Bowl gladly took our order and did an amazing job. The cake looked flawless and tasted good too! Our day was made extra special by this cake.

This place is very nice and the cupcakes are EVERYTHING!!! If your in the area please stop at The Mixing Bowl you will not be disappointed!!! My favorite: peanut butter cup. My son’s fav: s’more, my oldest daughter: cookie dough, my youngest fav: cookies and cream. I can not wait to go back to try more.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered a sheet cake with a strawberry/​banana custard center for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. Visually, the cake looked great. No issues there. When it came time actually eating the cake I was horribly disappointed (especially for $ 53). The cake itself was very dry and dense. You had to look for fruit in the custard.
Overall, not one of our 20+ guests finished their serving. That’s was the telling tale. We will never return nor will we recommend this establishment. It’s a real shame too. The people there were so incredibly nice. I feel bad about this post but the experience was that poor.

I’ve purchased from the Mixing Bowl several times, including cupcake orders for parties. While I’ve only had the cupcakes, they have always been really good! They have proven popular when I brought them to parties. And service has been great — very friendly and accommodating.

Everything looks great, but when we walked in I noticed a funny smell to the place, like mold or sour milk. That in itself wouldn’t have been a problem, but the cookies and mini-​apple pie we bought all had a strange aftertaste to them that rendered them inedible.
Obviously from the reviews it’s not always that way, but I have to say that even without the aftertaste, the cookies we bought were way too sweet and consequently too hard, as if too much sugar had been added.

Excellent cupcakes. The chocolate cupcake with peanut butter is «scarf down in the car and hope no one is watching, and throw away the evidence”-good! (Not that I’ve done that. Okay, maybe once. or twice.)
