Love Uncle Al’s place. Been visiting the Fudge Shoppe since the 70s. Same high quality chocolates, superior customer service, and a great sugar free selection for diabetics.

I’ve yet to have a bad experience here, and I’ve been a lifelong customer. Between the truffles, their seasonal specialities and(of course) the chocolate covered fruit… you can’t go wrong here. I love that the owners are constantly looking for ways to improve and expand their customers’ options! This is my go-to spot any time I need any kind of candies for gifts or events. They have yet to disappoint! In case yummy treats aren’t enough of a reason to frequent this place, their staff is OUTOFTHISWORLD. They’re friendly, courteous and full of suggestions(even when you’re there with a few too many questions during one of their holiday rushes).

This used to be a renowned local favorite, but it appears they are trading on their reputation, not their chocolate. The chocolate has a relatively low percentage of cocoa and is very waxy. Some of the chocolate covered fruits suffer from, well, bad fruit(and this is right from the store). Simply put, this is not great chocolate — it’s not even good chocolate. It’s time to let the Fudge Shoppe fade into our memories and move on to places that truly provide delightful chocolate creations, such as Chocodiem in Clinton. RIP Fudge Shoppe…

My mom used to take me to the fudge shop when I was little. As as an adult I always go there for all my chocolate needs :). I was there last night to purchase chocolates for Valentine’s Day and the staff was great! While I was waiting for my chocolates to be wrapped a man came around and offered freshly made samples. It really made my night after a long day at work :)

Delicious and quaint little candy shop packed around the holidays but plenty of workers to help. We went with Swedish fish, almond brittle etc and all worth the stop.

You would think that at $ 25 a pound, they would give you what you asked for. Where is the moonshine I asked for??? Best chocolate on the planet though.

I stopped by here during the drive from North Jersey to New Hope, PA to to get out, stretch and get past the highway hypnosis that I was fighting during that long boring drive on 87 and 287. So glad we stopped! I really enjoyed the free samples and I purchased a chocolate«card» as a gift for a friend who is leaving town. I asked about putting the chocolate«card» in a box, and not only did they do that they also gift wrapped it for me. So great! I also purchased a dark chocolate cluster with salted cashews — super tasty. Just wish they had some bottled water in the store as the chocolate samples made me thirsty. If you are thinking about stopping by here, stop thinking and just go. Really fun place with great people and tasty chocolate. Yum.

I was on my way to the winery when I noticed this shop and had to make a U turn to check it out. The minute you walk in you are hit with the wonderful aroma of chocolate. The shop itself it’s super cute and very well organized. They carry all types of chocolate and you can buy it by the bag, pound of individual. After going around 2x and tasting some of their samples my friend and I finally made up or mind and got a pound of chocolates. We went with an assortment that consisted of coconut, peanut butter, nuts and of course fruit. Each one was delicious but I have to say my ultimate favorite was the chocolate covered pineapple. The guy who helped us out was really nice, helpful and patient. This is a great shop to visit if you are in the area.

While this shop is quaint and homey, and the smell of chocolate is inviting, I do not find the taste of their chocolate to be all that great. The people here are very nice and they offer an incredible selection but I just do not like their chocolates. The fruit used in the chocolate dipped fruit is good quality but adding their chocolate doesn’t make it for me. Sorry, but I think this place is overpriced, the taste of the chocolate is just not what I like and my homemade fudge is a lot better, and cheaper to make. I also dip my own fruit so I don’t think I will be buying ovepriced chocolates from this place any time soon.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Fudge Shoppe. They are very patient and helped me choose chocolates for a Valentine. They ship orders also. I am already planning an Easter order. I wonder if they can mail orders for Easter or if it will be too warm.

This place is a veritable chocolate gold mine! We pass it on the way to New Hope, PA every trip. We stopped in to pick up some treats for our friends. It was their anniversary and we were surprising them. Well, the surprise was on us because upon walking in, the sweet smell of chocolate was palatable! We spoke with the owners and learned a little about this place being a family business. They let us sample several treats including this AMAZING marshmallow, maple syrup, and dark chocolate treat that was out of this world! We were impressed with their selection, the love they put into making everything, as well as the old school feel of the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Simply the best. Always fresh, nice friendly staff. The chocolate is excellent, numerous choices. Happy they are in Flemington so we can shop often. The only problem is that Alan as long as I have been shopping there has never said hello to me even after making eye contact, I find him rude. RECENTLY, Alan should retire, while I was being waited on Alan spoke rudely to his staff member, he should be aware what he is rudely saying to a polite employee in front of customers. I have seen him shop for fruit at Walmart or B. J’s. to be chocolate dipped

Cute old fashioned fudge and candy shoppe. It’s like time stands still in here! I know that everyone gushes over the place but I found their chocolate fudge to be rather mediocre and not all that special.

Warning: You will indulge. I’ve been to the Fudge Shoppe about five times now and I always come out of there excited to dig into whatever chocolate covered thing I’ve purchased. The shoppe itself is small but it packs a wollop! This is the closest thing to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory you can find in Northern Jersey(minus the Oompa Loompas). I particularly love the chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered Oreos. The fiancée and I stopped by the Fudge Shoppe the other day to purchase a ton of chocolate for gift bags at our upcoming wedding. I’m excited to pass on the Fudge Shoppe’s deliciousness to others as I’m excited to pass on their greatness to you too! If you’re driving down 202 and see a red barn on your side of the road… pull in and satisfy your sweet tooth! If you happen to see the red barn from the wrong side of 202… get over and take the next UTurn to head back and satisfy your sweet tooth! This place is a not miss no matter what direction you are coming from!
