Cherryville Farms

I’m not even sure quite how to write this review — Cherryville Farms went above and beyond all expectations. Short story — we had been here before and loved it, so I took my girlfriend to the farm to spend part of the day that we got engaged! Everyone was so nice, and they made special arrangements for us to get the tree when we were on our way home later in the weekend. They even gifted us an ornament to remember the day by! Everyone who was working was super friendly, and of course they had an amazing selection of trees. Clearly, if you are in the area, and even if you are not, this is the place to cut down your own tree. We’ll be going back every year even though we don’t live in NJ anymore.

We had been searching for a Christmas tree place but were having a tough time finding a good selection on the day after Thanksgiving. Luckily someone pointed this farm out to us — we had an absolute blast roaming the farm and finding our perfect tree (they have a ton of different species/​types of trees for those who are more selective!). Just remember to bring warm, thick gloves to help you chop down your selection! They provide saws and a cart to bring the tree back.
Everyone was super nice, the tree wasn’t too expensive, and they even gave us free hot chocolate.
This is a must if you’re looking for your Christmas tree!

This place is still the best. Depending on your route, you pass an alpaca farm on your way there and who doesn’t love seeing alpacas?, and there are horses right at the entrance at the Farm. So wonderfully farm-​y is this part of NJ.
Staff are always super helpful, and there are plenty of trees up for grabs. There is a tractor that takes you to various parts of the Farm as well. There are a new batch of trees that have finally matured up in the front when you first drive in, and another section pretty far back. I don’t venture that far, but it’s nice to have as an option if you really want to scope out the area for The Most Perfect Tree.

This is THE BEST tree farm you will find. We started the tradition of cutting our tree about 5 years ago because our neighbors had so many great memories of their own cutting trees down. We did our research and have tried 3 different farms over the 5 years and will always come back here.
The trees are beautiful, full and are always fresh. The staff is beyond nice and helpful. We will never go anywhere else. The hour and a half drive is worth it!!!
