Wallick and Volk

I am currently working with John & Dana Rich as a first time buyer. Saturday jan. 17^th (Martin Luther king weekend) I found the home I wanted. I emailed john telling him I’m putting in an offer at 11pm expecting a call or email response the following business day, but he emailed me back within five minutes! Awesome communication between Dana & rich with me & my realtor. I will refer all of my friends to them. Great team. Direct answers. I’m very happy.

My husband and I did business with Wallick and Volk for a VA home loan after hearing good reviews. Our experience was not as positive as we hoped, but they were able to make our closing smooth, on time and professional.
The negative:
1. We were unfortunate to be getting an interest rate the same week as the market became very volatile and rates increased significantly. This was not wallick and volk’s fault, but how they dealt with it was not favorable. Days before the rates increased, I had expressed concerns and requested to lock in ASAP. They failed to give me an option to lock in over the phone and we ended up settling for a much higher rate, which now affects us every month when we pay our mortgage.
2. We never had communication with Nikki Groff until she had to do the damage control when we told them we weren’t happy with how we locked in our rate. She did try to explain how and why the rates when up, but offered no consolation and never acknowledged that they failed to give me the option to lock in over the phone. Just didn’t get the sense that they really cared in the end.
The positive:
1. The team was very polite, professional and quick to respond to emails and phone calls.
2. The closing went smoothly.
3. The team did a good job explaining fees line by line.
All in all, I learned to be a better consumer and next time will be more vigilant with shopping around. With that being said, Wallick and Volk will provide a smooth closing and professional service.

I had a good experience with W&V/Flagstaff. Nikki was very helpful, and with her assistance I overcame seemingly high obstacles to get a loan at a great rate. She kept me focused, helped me understand all the finer points of a mortgage loan, and made sure I was knowledgeable and comfortable with everything each step of the way.

Complete Scammers. they got me 2 loans with horrible intrest. and my score is almost 800 ! they are middlemen, and sell your loan to banks like b of a ! they were completely involved with all of those real estate scams that melted down our economy. stay away from them you can do much better dealing with real banks. they falsified my income and my stats without me knowing. they really got me into a world of hurt!
