Had a chai spiced pancake with a couple eggs and jalapeño bacon. The pancake(which was huge) was delicious and the jalapeño bacon was tasty as well. Very eclectic atmosphere, with a large spacious patio. Kid friendly. Would go again.

Ate weekday brunch here and were not disappointed. First, the breakfasts are really creative. Then, the lunch menu looks delicious as well. We got the chorizo breakfast tacos and the savory omelette(I added Swiss cheese to my omelette). Both dishes were really tasty and used fresh ingredients. The décor is all repurposed and very eclectically tasteful. Very large patio for a meal under the morning sun. I’m going back for more…

Had a work lunch here we sat inside. We all had sandwiches and the food wasn’t bad just a regular sandwich. After we paid we were gathering our belongings when the waiter came over and told us, «There are other people waiting to be sat so if you wouldn’t mind.» It had literally been less than 60 seconds from getting our cards back before he said this. I’ve never been asked to give up my seat at any restaurant and I won’t ever go back for their mediocre food and horrible service.

Love this place! We will definitely return for more. I had the BLAT and my husband had the mushroom burger, our friends tried the smashed avocado an the fried egg sandwiches. Everyone agreed that the food was delicious!

Love the large patio! So many cute dogs to enjoy a meal with. We all enjoyed our food very much. Including the black bean veggie burger, grilled cheese with bacon sandwich and the burger with jalapeño(don’t remember what it was called). The homemade chips are okay but I’m not really a big fan of homemade chips. Very sweet wait staff too.

Service was slow but the food was good. We loved the atmosphere and décor. More kid breakfast options would be nice. Good coffee and large helpings.

Amazing food, I ended up clearing my plate before taking a picture to write a review. I highly recommend the savory omelette. While this isn’t a Michelin Star luxury location, this is a five star breakfast for what it is.

This place is a hidden gem! Serving amazing breakfast all day, you can take homemade pastries to go, or sit and eat. The décor is über cute and everything is for sale just in case something catches your eye. Now for the important stuff — the food! Their menu options are healthy or calorie packed, but all are filled with flavor. Whoever put the menu together, major kudos to you! The veggie omelette was one of the best I’ve ever had. The blueberry pancake filled the entire span of the plate and was big enough for two people. To top it off, it was cooked perfectly with the batter being just fluffy enough and the edges having that slight crisp without being overdone. I seriously wish I could mail order these pancakes because I’ve been craving them ever since! Once word gets out, TOC should have lines out the door. It’s that good!

I’m local Flagstaff so this review is based on multiple times in the restaurant. We wanted so bad to like this place because of the dearth of breakfast patios in town, but the service is so terrible that today we waited for 50 minutes of no food. When we asked about the wait we got no answer, just attitude. We said we were going to leave and the answer was«that’s fine.» They have no idea how to run a restaurant. We ate there before and when we got our food it was barely acceptable. All in all our experiences have been bad enough that we will not go back again.

Visiting Flagstaff and decided to try this little place out. Breakfast was awesome and the Bloody Mary was to die for. Spicy just the way I like it. Definitely would come back again. I went with the prosciutto and Brie omelette and it delivered. Eggs were perfect and moist and the potatoes were excellent.

The place looks fantastic, and I enjoyed the mix matched plates and furniture. Unfortunately the food was bland. The ingredients did not taste fresh, the break was stale, the meat was flavorless. The cook puts no love into their food or the presentation. For the money, there are much better places to eat.

SOO incredibly happy I made a stop here for breakfast while driving from flagstaff to Page. This place is a gem! The décor is beautiful and very cozy, makes you feel like you’re at home :). I ordered the«Smashed Avocado» with an over medium egg and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! Everything was fresh and tasty. I also ordered a «Chai Spiced pancake» not only was it delicious but it was huge! Perfect to share :). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It’s an absolute must to come and stop here for some great food.

After hearing good things about The Toasted Owl, I went there for lunch over the weekend and wow. Worth the hype. The interior of the café was cute and it was rather busy on the Saturday I went. Because of this, it took a bit longer to get greeted once we were sat, which is the only reason why I’m taking one star off. Otherwise, this place is awesome. I had the pruschetto Brie sandwich and it was basically a religious experience. Highly, highly recommend that sandwich in particular if you ever stop into this place!

Quirky, relaxed breakfast joint. Had the breakfast burrito, portion was definitely hearty so come with an appetite. Connie, who helps run the B&B next door to the restaurant, also makes some of the baked goods. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Had the lemon bar and it is awesome. Truly home made baked goods, a rare thing to find.

Cute, nice patio but missing umbrellas at ever table. Lacking décor or coziness outside but not horrible! Had the omelette. Not very good at all. It was like eating a piece of foam! Lacked authenticity, taste and texture was gross! They must blender the eggs as it was super thick and airy. Not how an omelette should be properly made. Potatoes seemed like day old. Hard and chewy. Some cold! Toast was pathetic and came with smuckers Jam! What? I asked for sourdough it tasted like weber bread! Service was slow! Had to ask for sugar for coffee, refills, water and more. I had high hopes for this place but I think I’ll just stay home and cook for myself! Not worth it! Won’t be back!

Super cute décor, very shabby chic. Disappointed that they don’t have espresso drinks; stopping off the freeway to grab a good cappuccino or americano was my #1 goal. To be called a café you must serve European style drinks. The restaurant is clean, very trendy, and the staff is friendly. Cons-The drip coffee is ok, service was slow for only half the tables inside being taken, plus it was so loud from all the people talking, actually yelling to have a conversation… there was cool music playing that I would’ve loved to here. The food was delicious! I def recommend stopping in if you’re not in a hurry and bringing ear plugs just in case!

This crunchy hipster place is super cute and unique — all the different coffee cups, water glasses, and décor was a sweet eclectic mix that reminded me of my grandmothers house. Service was a bit slow, but that also could’ve been that they had maybe 2 – 3 people working. Food was delicious, pictured is my fried egg sandwich. Beware — you may or may not sit next to obnoxious NAU sorority girls who’ll discuss their nail polish color for 15 minutes. You will start feeling your brain cells depleting by the hundreds.
