OMG, the turd with sprinkles picture that comes up when I pulled up suddenlink on Unilocal is so appropriate! Not many choices for internet here in Flagstaff. Made an appointment to have internet hooked up. Was given 8 – 10 time frame. By 1030 I’m calling to see where technician was(local number goes to Texas). They knew the tech was going to be late but hadn’t bothered to call me. Wasted a day trying to get internet hooked up. Technician was good and that’s the only reason they get two stars. Modem I rented from them is bad; you have to reset it every time you want to connect to the internet but they can’t come replace it for over a week(still waiting for that). When I got my first bill I was charged $ 100 that they said I wouldn’t be charged because my credit check was good. I’ve spent two days on the phone trying to get that charge removed. First people I talked to said they saw that I shouldn’t have been charged but they couldn’t take it off and I’d have to call collections. I have now been on the phone with collections for an hour between holding and them doing«research». This company is honestly the absolute pits. Days and days of stress, but like I said, they don’t have much competition here so I guess they can be as crappy as they want.

Do not use these guys. We switched back to direct tv after one week. They have a ton of hidden fees. They ruined our wall with the install. When we asked them to come fix it they never showed and refused to give a certain time when they would be there. Just call dish or direct tv and save your self some time.

If I could give these clowns zero stars I would — first they wanted $ 2000 to connect the internet so I opted to go to another address. They still had to old renters on it so 3 days later we faxed in the paperwork because it was a holiday weekend and were scheduled for them to come out on Tuesday between 1 and 5 — the guy arrived at 900p but slapped to modem up and left — did no testing. Of course after paying for 75mbps we power it up and bam 25mbps — ranging to 31mbps so I call another tech comes out and the best part of all of this — they do not guarantee their wifi because according to Suddenlink you lose a minimum of 10mbps — hmm. If the modem is in another room you lose more mbps so I ask him I had Cox in Phoenix — I had 50mbps the modem and router sat in room that was a hallway, a bathroom, a kitchen and living room away from where my office was and I NEVER found any drop in my speed so why would it now be an issue? Is it the altitude or maybe is it the provider? So we moved the modem into the same room where I work — it literally sits 3 feet from my laptop in the middle of a crisis at work — my speed drops to 3mbps — this again according to Suddenlink is because I am on wifi. I have a brand new laptop that does not have the 1990’s ethernet technology so when I was told I needed to hardwire in I replied — you should have said that when I signed up! My nephew was told by the 3rd technician who arrived at the home that they only guarantee speeds if you hardwire on to the modem — well then don’t sell wireless — sell that 1990’s Ethernet technology — I was not told that. Further he told him it was in the fine print on the site — well I have been all over their site and have yet to see where they say you must use ethernet. This company lies and defrauds customers — it is full of ignorant people who have never bothered to educate themselves on the product they install and it annoys the heck out of them when they run into someone like me who says OH hell no to their lines of garbage. When is Google coming in with their Fiber optics??? These fools need put out of business!

Went to their store and they were very friendly. Realized we may have left something at office and tried to call. No phone number listed for local office. Called 800 number since that was all that was available. Completely worthless! Told her what I needed, then had to explain again. She had no number to provide. So much for customer service!

Hands down, the worst cable company EVER. Do not even bother with these guys. The tech is outdated and the customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. As a rule, cable companies struggle with customer service, however Sudden link hits a new low. Find another provide!

Suddenlink is HORRIBLE. Not only have they dropped 24 channels but they regulate your internet. Since they dropped The Comedy Channel they don’t allow you to access their website if you use them as your internet provider. I didn’t realize Fox News owned Suddenlink. WOW!!!

Where do I even start? First of all, I stopped watching my SuddenLink cable completely because it suddenly goes black halfway through a show more often than it stays on long enough for me to watch. Secondly, my household internet plan is in my dads name, and my fiancé and I tried to switch it to hers(with permission from my dad) and SuddenLink told us they don’t service our area despite the fact we already use their services and their trucks are in our neighborhood every other day at least. Thirdly, two college students live in my house and the allowed gigs of data does not come close to suiting our needs, and when we tried to change it they said they don’t service our area. Full if crap! Let’s just say as soon as Cox cable comes to Flagstaff we will be jumping on that ship. Fourth, our internet speeds are always slow and we spend half of the month internetless because it goes out so often. Before we got SuddenLink I would go to McDonalds for internet. Now I have it in my home and I still go to McDonalds all the time. If you’re looking for internet in Flagstaff, DONOT get it here. You will be severely disappointed!

I scheduled an appointment for the Saturday that we moved into our new home. My wife works from home and needs internet so it was a blessing for them to have a Saturday install. My appointment was between the hours of 4−6pm, the technician arrived about dead center of that at 5. When he started setting up our service he was told that they would have to reschedule for Monday afternoon as whoever handles provisioning the modems does not work the weekends. This simply would not work for us as my wife requires an ethernet connection for her work computer. We explained the situation to the installer, and inquired why they would schedule installation appointments on Saturdays if all they can do is connect the modem to the wall. The technician was very patient, explained the situation to a supervisor, and made it happen for us. The internet is blazing fast, $ 55 a month for 50mbps service is a good deal, and they seem to truly care about their customers. I would highly recommend them!
